Sorry to leave it at just this, but it could be a long couple days.

Somebody I respect, and would be in a position to know, says it ain't Pellegrini.

I can't allow myself to think it could be Jose, surely not?

Maybe De Boer. Apologies, but have to leave it at that, nothing else to add.

Looks like I could be wrong on Manuel.

You cannot be serious!

Not surprised at all tbh. Pellegrini has got options coming out of his ears and it would've been insane for us to only have one candidate. Interesting few days ahead.

I don't believe thats the case because if it were there is nothing preventing the club making a statement categorically denying Pellegrini has agreed to be the new manager. They could have done that on Saturday.....unless this is a new twist in the saga and the previously low risk scenario is suddenly not looking so likely or straightforward.

This thread has taken an unsettling turn. It's an emotional rollercoaster.
I'm already mourning the loss of Pellegrini and we haven't even signed him.

Any counselors on hand?

Funny as firk, spat my out.....

I can see us getting Benitez

1) Knows the Premiership
2) Has delivered in Europe
3) Available in a couple of weeks
I like him. Funny and has personality. But too defensive. Was not impressed with his defensive tactics when his Chelsea played City

I like him too. Can be entertaining when interviewed. Just as long as he is managing someone else
Yet he's turned CFC's season around in difficult circumstances. But no, I don't want him at City.

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 5

If it is Benitez then it proves just how poorly the whole thing's been handled, he'd be a last resort and rightly so, so if it is him we're in the shit IMO

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 5

Have the club snubbed Pellegrini in favour of Baconface? He is a free agent after all... currently on a double decker in Manchester too.

If we jumped the gun to get Pellegrini because Barca are approaching maybe he just fancies that more? Especially after this shambles.

I'm sorry but the way the club have handled the sacking of Pellegrini without even lining up a replacement is a real disgrace. Pellegrini barely had one game with us, in fact he had none and to sack so early into the season, well the mind boggles.

Forza Pellegrini

I blame RSC, who is working for Hughes, backed by Shinawatra
