Sorry to leave it at just this, but it could be a long couple days.

Somebody I respect, and would be in a position to know, says it ain't Pellegrini.

I can't allow myself to think it could be Jose, surely not?

Maybe De Boer. Apologies, but have to leave it at that, nothing else to add.

Looks like I could be wrong on Manuel.

Oh Jesus. Never been a great believer in the whole ITK thing, and take everything that's said with a pinch of salt, because even if someone does know something , we all knows how quick things can move in football.
But anyone who's followed this forum in the last 5 years would be mad to ignore what TH says when it comes to managerial appointments after the last one.

If you haven't got it on, put it on - TS right now. Comedy gold.

"United are in a period of instability and now is the ideal opportunity for City..."

Custis you fucking slug, you are a legend.

Well yeah, unless he'd said previously Pellegrini was nailed on :-S

A classic Tolmie cliffhanger...

I still think it'll be Pellegrini. Mourinho doesn't suit the club's direction at all but I have to admit if we announced Mourinho on the day of the scum's parade, that would be epic and a half.
The problem is until something is announced everyone and their mother is gonna be rumoured the longer this drags out. Jose is out there though and a weird part of me wants Pellegrini over him...

Fuck that, if it's Mourinho I'll actually consider giving the wife one.

If that was to happen it would be the curve ball of all curve balls, and i don't mean you giving your wife one! ;-)

No... he's not a dick. He's a blue like most of us on here.

I also agree with him regarding the PR disaster; and I'm certainly no dick! He's right, they could have nailed this friday night, without lying or looking stupid in the following days/weeks.

A 2 line statement would have been sufficient. They chose to ignore it for some reason. Stupidity of the highest fucking magnitude.

I know that Vicky is non confrontational and prefers the softly softly apporach to get the press onside... This approach has failed!

Whatever your feelings about the manager, he has been hung out to dry and deserved better!
Thanks mate. I hope that by you making the same point, people actually consider it as opposed to just reacting with their backs up because they don't like me personally for whatever reason.

As I've said earlier, a statement saying "Roberto Mancini is still the Manchester City manager and has 4 years left to run on his contract. Roberto and the club remain focused on winning the FA Cup final."

No lies, no falling out with the press, but it would have had a huge affect on the mood.

Absolutely... and when the question was asked... she could politely advise them that 'you have the answer already'... the mood on saturday was fucking awful.
I agree, I've been to Wembley every time we've been since and including 99. Every time I've been I've had a great day, great atmosphere and mood all day. Except for Saturday. Before we even set off everyone was downbeat and only talking about Mancini. That continued the whole day, awful awful atmosphere all day, and without doubt had an effect on the players.

To be fair,he isn't the main cnut in the family, that's Rag brother Shaun.

He's entitled to his opinion like anyone else,i happen to disagree mind.

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 5

Mourinho comes with too much baggage. De Boer would be my choice. Young, hungry and plays attractive football.

I'm sorry but the way the club have handled the sacking of Pellegrini without even lining up a replacement is a real disgrace. Pellegrini barely had one game with us, in fact he had none and to sack so early into the season, well the mind boggles.

Forza Pellegrini

Brilliant!!

City...sacking managers that are still at other clubs since 2013.
