If you want the tail to wag the dog thats exactly what you do.

Yep. If a group of players can dictate whether the manager stays or goes then you are simply buying trouble further down the line. What happens if they don't like the replacement? Or the new manager goes out of his way not to upset players in case he gets the bullet? Its basically the problem at Chelsea which started when Terry agitated to get Jose removed. Or look at Madrid where Jose has faced endless battles to control the dressing room to no avail and ends up leaving. Allegedly several key Liverpool players wanted Benitez gone and thats not worked out too well either.

Sack Mancini for not doing a good enough job then fine. Sack Mancini because some players want him gone? Then they will spend the rest of their time here swanning round doing as they please. Maybe that would account for Saturday along with all the other shit that went on.

Easy to say when it's not your money that will be needed to rebuild the squad.

You don't have to rebuild the squad. If you have 3 or 4 key players agitating for managerial removal you pick one of them and bomb them out. A few months later you then sack the manager for poor performance or whatever.

Players are back in line having seen one of them cop it making future representations unlikely and the manager is now gone removing that problem. The one thing you do not do is run around sacking someone when the players get a bit miffed. If you do they will always find something to be 'miffed' about.

He said it was a done deal two days ago...
Hes like everybody else mate knows fuck all, i have come to the conclusion there is only Mansour knows whats going on

Part of me really hopes that Mansour is far too busy to be ITK on all this and relies on Kaldoon and the spaniards doing the business. I love the idea of Mr Mansour sat on in bed at 2am pressing F5 trying to find out what the fuck is going on like the rest of us.

His Highness has someone to press F5 for him.

If Mourinho is definitely going to Chelsea then why has no official announcement already been made.

Rafa is definitely going at the end of the season, Real now have nothing really to play for, so why the delay in any announcement? It would hardly come as a surprise.

So maybe Mourinho is not as nailed on as many would believe. Perhaps Chelsea may go back for Ancelotti? - better working relationship with Abramovic than Mourinho had. After all Abramovic did sack Mourinho and we all know what his ego is like.

Maybe United appointing Moyes has put a few spanners in some peoples works - all speculation I know.
Real Madrid have to announce he's leaving first before Mourinho can say where he's going...if he's made that decision.

PSG have knocked back an enquiry on Ancelotti from Madrid today. PSG owner has said Ancelotti going nowhere as he has a year left on his contract.

It's on the bbc.

I'm glad the Pellegrini rumours seem to have died of a little. How on earth we can even be considering hiring a manager who can't speak a word of English is beyond me.
