I'm glad the Pellegrini rumours seem to have died of a little. How on earth we can even be considering hiring a manager who can't speak a word of English is beyond me.
He speaks perfect english.

Izz important.

Mourinho would say: I sink so

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 5

This was the strategy under which Pellegrini was approached, and although on Monday morning the Chilean denied he had reached an agreement, discussions between City and his agent, Jesús Martínez, regarding financial terms and contractual clauses are at the stage where a deal is ready to be signed.

Thank fuck. The Guardian is better than most at these things.

Soon.

Guys, it's Pellegrini.

We have probably leaked these rumours to hurry up Mancini's departure.

Or a way of finding out where some of the leaks are?

platt.

The woman, she's probably just getting us back for all the stick we gave Kevin Webster in the cellar.

Why would academy players also be going? Does anyone else get a pretty bad feeling about this? Maybe it isn't as simple as the owners are not happy with the manager, possibly a further, deeper, and much more serious problem yet to surface?

Starting to look like "bigger picture" stuff at play to me. The academy being cutback to a realistic timeframe, buy the next couple of seasons players and hope for homegrown players in three years time or so?

Same 'problem' unfortunately for Bobby.

I would think they will want some younger players promoted next season, hence getting rid of Mancini at this time. Some potentially good players who now need to start to play if they are to develop to the best of their potential.

Suarez, Rekik, Lopes, Razak (possibly) will be on the clubs mind, they will want a manager who can manage them properly.

also think there are too many players on the academy books, in the EDS for example you can name several who have no long term future. Mancini's son for a start who is a joke quite frankly

Maybe I'm out on the timescale but the players you mention still won't get many starts next season... If our expected targets get signed.
