this thread is like a fucking roundabout, in the morning we'll have sightings of Mancini travelling in a different vehicle to the players, then rumours that various coaches have gone, and then someone will say he can't speak English! Another week of this most likely!!

if the performance on Saturday had come completely out of the blue then I might agree. As it is we've had quite a few performances like that this season, some of which we have got away with (Wigan at home) and some we haven't. It is completely disingenuous to blame the reports in the papers because with the way we we have been playing recently what happened on Saturday was always going to be a distinct possibility. Hence the club looking for a new manager which led to the reports in the first place!
