Roma would be a good opportunity for him. Mancini's tactics are well suited to Serie A and they have the nucleus of a team that might be able to challenge Juventus with a few good buys.

Many Italian Clubs will offer him a job easily. He's been linked with Roma. Alternatively, Monaco in France will come in for him again.

As a season ticket holder I will be sad to see Mancini go. But the number of games I've been to this season and have been completely underwhelmed by the performance, tells me that the he has been unable to get the best out of a very very talented bunch of players.
I remember the Liverpool home game - we made them look like Real Madrid, and had it not been for Sergio's wonder goal, we would have lost. And there are many others. There's been a lack of imagination and energy all season. Obviously some exceptions, but my overall impression this season has been a resounding "could do better".
So to those that are saying it's unfair to sack Mancini after one trophyless season, I think you are missing the point. There has been something missing form our team throughout the season. And that is down to the manager.
Add to that his constant public sniping about individual players, Marwood, and the hierarchy, he's made a rod for his own back. However way you look at it, Mancini has underperformed.
As I said, sad to see him go, but the management are fully entitled to make a change now.
