He's volatile enough where even an agreement could go south if the next match doesn't go well.

City's bigger problem right now is Pellegrini. If it's true that Barcelona have moved for him, then I'm afraid Txiki and Ferran may have a problem. Sandro Rossel is going to have no problem in doing everything he can to take him and fuck us over.

The next few days are going to be very very interesting.

I don't think it'll come to that but there will be alternatives. Ancelotti all but confirmed tonight he will be open for job offers soon, looks like he's out of PSG already. God knows why... league title + last 8 of the Champions League (and so unlucky against Barcelona), and people call our chiefs harsh (unless he's quitting).

He's quitting because Madrid want him - I guess that's a tough job to turn down, especially with the players they have there. I can't see past Laudrup and De Boer if Pellegrini falls through to be honest. Having said all that, I have faith we'll get MP in in the end.

It will be a massive problem if Castles is right. Benitez is our backup according to him.

You all better pray we get Pellegrini.

Be ironic if there wasn't a plan B, considering one of the reasons we are in this situation is a lack of a plan b.....

Maybe we could throw buckets of cash at De Boer?

Would be hilarious if we hijacked Martinez from Everton, I suppose. At least that's where I heard he's going.

We would look a complete laughing stock getting Martinez, it would be like if you can't beat then join them sort of thing.

He is a good manager and deserves better than Wigan, but i still think he has motivation consistency and consistent defensive organisation question marks over his head.

His side play like Spain one week, San Marino the next. Clean sheet one week, 4s and 5s the next.

Maybe that's an extreme analysis but you can see where I am coming from.

It will be interesting to see how well he does at a better side, although if Wigan played to their potential every week who is to say where they could be? Again motivational and defensive consistency issues.
When I say "hilarious" I don't mean it's a good idea.

Vilanova will probably leave Barca, Mourinho will probably leave Madrid & Ancelotti will probably leave PSG and Allegri could possibly leave Milan. Why do you think City are so ruthlessly keen to get Pellegrini who is highly regarded by Txiki? They have reasons to be if they want to replace Mancini.

It's between Klopp, De Boer and Pellegrini - all three have passion for building teams and playing exciting football which appeal to Txiki. The first two are not really available so Pellegrini it is.

I'll be brutally honest, I've grown frustrated at City's tepid performances this season and the fact they didn't "fight" for the manager on Saturday said it all. If we look past our Mancini-tinted glasses he may well have lost the dressing room and relationships with backroom staff may have soured.

The very notion makes me nauseous.

Sigh Rafa........... That would be disappointing.

Well yippee!!!

Even SSN are saying "and is Roberto Mancini to be sacked by Manchester City" etc. They never normally report on anything unless they are absolutely sure.

One of the shittest times I've felt as a City fan.

Regardless of his flaws Mancini has constantly been treated like shit by the media here, just like Balotelli... and there's no agenda is there not? Why haven't players from the rags/chelsea etc felt forced out of England by the press?

Rag bastards.

Surely we have sounded out Klopp and he just isn't interested? Despite losing Gotze and Lewandowski (soon), Dortmund will still be a hugely exciting team next season and the atmosphere of the club (not the fans but the club itself) is supposed to be something else... and much of it is down to Klopp himself, it's almost his club in the same way United was Baconface's and Arsenal is Wenger's.
