Mancini: Carlos has told me he wants to stay

I just hope he's right in what he's saying and not trying to put pressure on him to make a decision, because if he is it could have an adverse affect.
 
i cant see mancini making a statement like this if he wasnt sure...

he would be setting himself up for a massive fall.

tevez has stated he has no problem with mancini, so they have clearly had a chat and i think tevez is now excited by the idea of leading the CL charge!!

this could be the biggest 'signing' we make!!
 
I was a bit worried at the end of the match tonight when he waved several times. Seems he was just waving and not saying goodbye.

Brilliant if he stays.
 
Don't get excited just yet, don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for him to stay but there's a difference between him saying he WANTS to stay, and him saying he is GOING to stay.

He said recently in an interview that he wants to stay but he'll do whatever is best for his family, you don't know if Mancini means this too and just didn't predict his words would make us all have hope.

Like I said, I'm not trying to be a doom and gloomer because I'm a positive fan but I just wouldn't get excited yet until he's said he is going to stay.

Hate to say it, but I'm with you on this one mate...

Only 2 days ago he said that he wanted to stay but he had to consider if he could take the pain of being away from his family & ultimately that is what will make his mind up for him.

Mancini isnt saying anything that Tevez himself hasnt already said, so I'm not getting my hopes up..... Having said that, reports are coming out of Spain tonight that Kun Aguero has told Athletico that he wants to leave & they desperately need the money, so watch this space
 
How I pray this is true. He was absolutely top drawer tonight and I would be gutted if he went.

With all that's gone on i will not be entirely convinced until i hear from Tevez himself that he is staying. Fantastic if true. He could fire us to the very top if he stays.
