Mancini states in the Guardian

. "But it is strange for me that we only had three central midfielders – Gareth Barry, Nigel de Jong and Stephen Ireland. It is impossible to play a whole season using just three central midfielders. Impossible."

Which just goes to show he doesn't even understand his own squad, what is Kompany, he is a fucking midfielder covering at centre half until his injury. Excuse's excuse's.

Mancini is perfectly correct. Kompany is a classy central defender posing as an occasional midfielder.

And you know more than Mancini?

And you know more than Mancini?

Sorry to say yes it appears so, i have identified another central midfielder for him. Look we have got a better fucking midfield than 95% of the premiership, what a shit excuse, if he really thought that he should of got his skates on in the ttransfer window.

You are only half right, Kompany IS A CENTRE BACK, that was covering in the midfield. He was decent in the midfield, but there is little doubt that his best position is centre back. On paper Ireland, De Jong and Barry looks good. But we all know how poor barry has been, how unpredictable De Jong is, and how Ireland is struggling with his second season and after going "pro".

This is funny. The OP thinks he is right. While I think the majority of us agree with Macinci.

Until our roster can compete with Chelsea we are just an also ran. We just need to upgrade our roster or improve our players till we are at that point.

I hope the original poster is suitably embarrassed?

The other midfielder is Michael Johnson, but he's a long term injury. Hughes could not have predcited the injury in the Summer, but at the same time he could not rely on Johnson's return either as he has been a long term injury

The lack of midfielders was less of an issue for Hughes as he wanted to play with wingers, but Mancini wants City to be difficult to beat away from home - and for that you need to control the game in the middle of the park. Our midfielder's natural game is to sit deep.

We need a fit Vieira and one who is 5 years younger.

Vincent is a utility player. I expect he could do a decent stint up front but his strength is clearly in the middle of the back four. He has been literally 'head and shoulders' our best centre back this season.

Stop fucking knit picking, Kompany is a spare Defensive midfielder who can also play centre half. Why the fuck did we buy Toure and Lescott if we were going to play Kompany at centre half, stop making excuses like Mancini's miscalculation of midfielders at the club. Robinho has started making excuses now about how its all our fault that hes a lazy cnut.
