So we should keep 2 players that upset team harmony because they did okay at other clubs.

I'd question why those players did well at other clubs and not here first and foremost.

A manager manages. Rather than manage, Mancini cast them away.

I simply think Mancini is a bit green when it comes to managing. He's seen us right on the field but at a great financial expense. We did win the league, yes, but we did so with imo the best players the prem has seen since the United treble winning team. Let's be straight about things. It's not like he won with lesser players. I personally think we should have won by more than GD.
possibly the most pathetic post i`ve ever read on bluemoon

Care to expand and put me straight?

He guided us to the top with a top team, he didn't guide us to the top with lesser players. We should have beaten a truly woeful Everton who fielded players out of position even for example.

How well did we do in Europe again?

I want Mancini to succeed, but questions are still there. I believe my questions will be answered in due time but I'm more than free to question him. I look past his work with City and look at his form in Europe with Inter and how poor the teams around him were then when he won titles etc.

This isn't some tosh I just thought of. My questions have harboured for a long time. Like I said, expand?

+1. Everyone ready to jump in and accuse you of spouting rubbish, but not one prepared to argue with any of your well thought out points. It seems if you have the 'wrong' opinion in here you get ambushed with hit and runs.

Get your barricades up then mate!

Remember the keys to being 'a proper blue' is blind affinity to the club and to nod your head like Churchill in 'safe, majority rules' posts. Call minority posters clueless and even a rag. That's the level of some aye!

The fact Bobby was down to a single year on his contract before renewing suggests Tue jury was out imo. His reward was the 5 years and fair play to all concerned but the questions are still there. Anybody saying otherwise imo isn't analysing the bigger picture. We are a club going forward no doubt but FFP is a major burden, turnover of players must stem and frivolous spending cut down to essentials. Kolorov, Savic and Dzeko are all purchases I question. Baines and Cahill would have been bought to boost quota and because they are better than the Kolorov and Savic. Dzeko is an argument depending on the Adr situation. Ade is a mercenary who's out for himself only but he is a player not considered for FFP and plays more suited to us than Dzeko. I would have kept him and only once sold would I have bought Dzeko, if at all.

People say we screamed lack of width, that's because we gave a wideman away, for free!

A German international we owned was sold and replaced by imo a terrible player.

These points are null and void because our manager won the league with the best players within the league.

Unbelievable!

-- Fri Jul 27, 2012 6:26 pm --

Complete and utter garbage, absolutely nonsense. No trophies for 30 odd years and an ongoing losing mentality within the club and Bobby has taken us to a trophy in each of his 2 full seasons in charge. For me he is a God, and you sir are a total muppet

+1 - which muppet though?

+1 - Fozzie

Re: Adebayor

Well, tbh it's all about opinions and in my opinion Mancini is a fantastic manager who has worked wonders at our club. We'll never know of course but I'm certain we wouldn't have won the title under Hughes. To win an FA Cup then a league title in what to Mancini is a foreign country in his first two seasons is an amazing achievement regardless of what he's had to spend.

It's also good management shipping out players who in his opinion won't fit in to how he wants us to play, or how he wants the dressing room attitude. We as fans don't see half of what happens behind the scenes & we all have favourite players, and may sometimes disagree with decisions. But he must have called it right because City are Premier League Champions.

And this with virtually everyone in the media on his back and spouting shit to placate the drunken old twat at the swamp as well. The mind games at the end of the season were superb; saying it was over so the press couldn't put pressure on - Baconface cracked, not Bobby Manc. World class manager in my opinion; up there with Mourinho & Guardiola.
