he seems very unique in ways that i havent seem in alot of managers.he seems to have his own way in which he can get his point of views accross to the players on the pitch with his communications. He is no doubt a winner and that is his main attribute and he also loves his players to do well. His cool manner feeds onto the players and i feel they are starting to really understand his tactics more and more with each game.Although we played a team that dont have the quality we have but still have there own relagation issues to worrie about,i thought mancini was spot on with his tactics today. What i saw different today was a team that gave me the impression of a fighting spirit within the squad as if to say fourth place is going to be ours, along with a touch of class to go with it.we look like were enjoyng our football as all the players have smiles on there faces. It really is in our hands now no doubt about it and i feel mancini and the boys will get us there. For all you mancini out posters please understand that this man can create something very special at this club givin the right backing from the club and its supporters.also we must thank mark hughes for what he also did at this club earlier on in the season and in the transfer market in the summer.

i feel that we are very lucky to be in this position but we the supporters deserve it more than anybody on this planet

Agreed. We have a quality manager.I hope people will realise this

I think most people would agree - for me he is one of the best managers we have had and he will get my support - still feel that he will be on his way in the summer if a galatico manager come available (and NO i dont want Mancini out) but happy - he has sorted out our defense which is what has cost us this season.

if we get champions league do you really think we will let him go for a galatico type manager?surely if he gets us there in what is the most compettitve league in the world then that surely makes him a galatico manager right?

That is nine points from the last three away fixtures, which is weird, given what went before.

I dont know - i certainly hope not but i suspect that our owners may have different views.

It is true - his contract allows both parties to walk away in the summer - i agree it would make City look bad but for me there is only one manager that can dislodge Mancini and that is Mouriniho and for him to come is unlikely as Real are most likely suitors

yeh that pellagrini dude looks like hes going to get the bullet, although there president said they may give him one more year.one thing i do know is that mourinho will leave inter.ive got a feelingboth clubs could do a manager swap.pellagrini is a great manager and what he did for villareal was quality.

i would call him a natural.

he seems to have a positive effect. the players must look at the moyes incident and think, fair enough, it hurts you to lose, but you don't hide it, you stand up and fight. and, by apologising immediately on the telly he comes across as the nice guy, the smart, decent, responsible guy.

and the hints about Juve might have served a purpose. they might respect him for not just saying what everyone wants to hear. and a lot of them might relate to him about feeling uncertain about his future. so they start to feel they're all in the same boat, and the only thing to do is to get together and fight for fourth.

I think he's a very very confident person. not arrogant, but there seems no doubt in his mind about what he wants. it might be hard for them to understand every last detail he wants from them. but at least he's not sending out mixed or vague signals, what he says in the interviews is very focused and consistent. concentration. fight. If someone told me that's what they wanted, I would get it. show courage and determination, and above all, concentrate. things anyone can understand and relate to.

however if "someone" said, 'obviously the intensity of our play was not there', that's vague. how do I become 'intense'? love affairs are intense. what is intensity of play? is it something technical or something mental, or a bit of both. it's not obvious at all.

another thing... he never speaks about the opponent, except to pay them the usual respect. what I'm saying is, I never get the impression that he is trying to excuse a loss by saying, well, they made it difficult for us by doing such and such, or it's a difficult place to come. he can't control what they do. the team can't ever hope for an opponent to not do X or Y. he's giving the impression that all we should be worried about is our own performance... it gives the impression that he really believes, if we follow the plan well enough, we should win every game. that gives confidence to the players. he's always focused on the team and our performance, where we go from here, not what the press are going to say about him in the morning.

I am eulogising a bit, I just really like his leadership style. It's obvious that the main thing he wants from all his players is to listen to him. I'm sure it doesn't work as well on everyone, but I know that I want to understand exactly what he's thinking, because he appears confident and clear that he has certain ideas, and that they will work. who knows, maybe it won't work. But I can't help wanting to find out.

Dont forget Benitez who is also likely to be on the move - it is going to be an interesting summer

if we get champions league football and get through the qualifying round.how much do you think we will spend and who do you think we will buy? i think that de rossi from roma would be a good buy.

I think if we get the CL our owners will spunk more money than anybody can imagine and i geniunly believe that their first target will be Mouriniho - if and only IF they do land him then they will go after every world class player they can think off and there are going to be a few available - that is why i think Mancini could well end up back in Italy next year.

Still lets get there first - just enjoying the football - 30 plus fookin years i have been waiting for this - just enjoying the here and now.

very well said... he is a natural... he has a plan... and he focus on our performances... and isnt blaming everyone and his sister for not delivering the result... its all about us and that we didnt do what was needed... no blaming the refs, or the other team or the pitch or the rain/winter/wind...

I really think Mancini and Man City is a match made in heaven... we both have things to prove and to show the world... and we have the right backing for it to last for a long time

I want our owner to have the balls to keep him even if we make 4th. I would be so easy to get in Mourinho and give him a load of money but I think that would be a step backwards. Mourhino doesn't stay anywhere long, OK he might win us some silverware which we all desperately want but what then? 3 yrs he's gone and we are looking for another manager. I'd rather give Mancini 3 yrs and let him build a team because I don't think he'd be leaving after 3 yrs he'd want to see it through to us becoming a European force.

Having said that I don't think we will make 4th this yr. Liverpool have such an easy run in even they couldn't balls it up whereas we and Spuds have some tough games. I hope I'm wrong.
