Mancini: "I promise we'll finish forth"

I dont care if he was joking or not, in print it will not look like that. He should have come up with a witty comment like "the only thing I promise is that I will speak to the BBC even when you try and set me up to make me look stupid by asking these questions"

To be honest though bobby knows that if he does not deliver fourth he's gone, even if it might be a tad unfair. so maybe he thinks he has nothing to lose by saying it
 
Sounds to me like a translation issue. I reckon he was promising that he thinks we'll finish fourth. Saying it was a genuine opinion. That's a very different thing to actually promising 4th spot if you get my drift.
 
Can anyone provide us here with a league table since Mancini is in charge? Because face it, he's the best manager we've had in a long time. 3 bad results against those dipshits doesn't mean we have to replace him. If there is a manager who can handle big name players and carry them to success, it's Mancini.

Our performance against Chelsea? That was a tactical masterclass that Fergie could never dream of pulling off. It wasn't tactics that lost us the game, that's for sure because for 90+ minutes, we matched United and stifled their attack.
