Old Trafford has never been in Manchester. It was originally in Salford, until 1972 (I think that’s the right date) when the borders were redrawn and since then it’s been in Trafford.

Fairly sure it was in the Borough of Stretford, Lancashire, until 1974 when that was merged with Sale and Alty into Trafford Met.
