Mancini is right AJ is lazy

It is his attitude that pisses me of. Not celebrating as if to make a point "play me" kinda thing.
As Damo said he is in a team of stars and has not merrited a starting place. Taking that into account he should be beeming a smile a mile wide when he gets on as he does do often.

The problem is that he cant beat players for pace. So his lack of pace would be exposed on the left, players would just show him the outside when he's on the left and he's gonna do less damage when he creates space as he's on the outside before they catch him up and close the distance. On the right when he creates space for himself and come inside, he is closer to the middle with his left foot and has time to do something. Simply put lack of pace is whats holding him

Alright Johno hasn't got the pace but he can pick a pass and has a good delivery of the ball when on his left.

But when he's on the same field as Zaba and Kolarov we struggle as all are far too slow.Clichy and/or Richards allow us a different approach and give the likes of AJ more freedom.

Very harsh assessment Dam in my opinion

I don't think he should start every game because he's a squad player and he should be rotated to suit but when he plays i don't think he's used to his strength, he's a very good squad player.

I agree that he's an acceptable squad player. My issue is that he doesn't seem to see this. The point that I was trying to make in a roundabout way, is that if he wants to be as good as he thinks he is, he needs a team built round him which he won't get here. He's nice coming off the bench now and again when we want to stretch a fullback. I cannot see any other use for him within our system. Either he needs to change or the system does, and as we're top of the league, I nominate him.

If he was playing at the dippers with Carroll in the middle he'd be told to ping the balls in the middle for him to get on the end of early, yet we play Johno when Dzeko starts and no balls are sent in........baffles me?

Dzeko isn't very good in the air to be honest. He's good, but not great. The other problem, is that AJ is greedy and always tries to come inside for that left footed curling shot that he scored once, 3 years ago.

Also to say he's selfish when you see Balo as some sort of god is a bit of a contradiction in my eyes.

Balo works hard for the team, offensively and defensively, and also passes rather than running into blind alleys.

Opinions is what it's all about and boring if we all agreed.

It just frustrates me to see what Dzeko can do when the ball comes in early, spuds game springs to mind and yet when he starts we don't get balls in early to him?

no heart,no desire, just useless flicks and tricks when a simple 5-10 yard pass would be far more effective.

at first i was impressed he had so much potential ,but i doubt we will ever see that potential now.

He was the only player trying to make things happen in the first half and was playing well. He did fade second half but there were 5 or 6 worse than him today!

He's been less lazy this season than his previous two also, noticed him many times chasing back and helping out. He's not great at defending but neither is Silva/Nasri etc.

And why this attitude myth keeps getting brought up. He's been nothing but positive about City, Mancini and the rotation system in his interviews, he even signed a new long term deal, so why people keep bringing that up, I don't know.

but his attitude is shit in the respect that he always tries to do things on the pitch to help HIM and not the team.
