Mancini - Nearly a year at City, what's your rating?

Still very early days, but he's already improved on Hughes record last season if he gets anything from the game at Upton Park. Hughes had 29 points after 19 games last season, Roberto has 29 after 16, for some reason the press don't seem to do the Hughes/Mancini comparisons any more?.

As for how he's done I've been impressed on the whole, he's made us very hard to beat, great defensively and now he has his entire team available we're starting to look very good going forward. Silva, Balotelli, Kolarov and AJ all look/have been great signings and the likes of Yaya Toure and Milner are slowly improving. My qualm has to be his sometimes negative tactics, but at times he has been forced into using them, something which is often overlooked on here, we've seen great victory's over Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa and our away form is the best I've known it in the Premier League era. To summarise, a good solid year in charge and things are looking up.

7.5/10

9/ 10.

Exactly on track for me. Used last season to see the strengths and weaknesses of the team, whilst keeping them used to whatever tactics they were using at the time. This season he has slowly, but surely, implemented his thinking of the game on the team.

Reluctant players are now being converted to his way as are the reluctant fans. I said, last year, that given time we would be seeing swashbuckling football. We are on the way to that. Shooting boots needed and we'll see constant high scores!

A few trimmings needed, but we are right on the money, otherwise.

I like him. Building from the back and 12 goals conceded in 16 prem games is very good. Especially with the same players more or less... 8/10.

success.
yes we will win something with him in charge.

signings
brilliant, really good at being able to attract top players.

tactics.

at first shit but he's been man enough to admit i was right he was clueless and luckily for him took my advice.
(not had an apology from him yet though for wasting so much of my time and money watching total shit).

i give him 8 out of 10, would have got a nine but his man management and making substitutions need a little work.

Class.

8/10

We look like we are capable of fully clicking into gear at any time soon, just hope it's not a false dawn.

10/10 all the way.

Oh and I'd also like to mention he has done a brilliant job on improving Richards, Kompany, Kolo Toure and Tevez. I also think the decision to give Hart the shirt was very shrewd.

from what i considered a really slow start, i feel progress is there to be seen in leaps and bounds.

i think the signings of silva, balotello and ya ya will be the difference, they are good enough to win us the league.

at the start of the season i was a lukewarm five, i am now avery optimistic 8/9

keep it up

We're 4th so I'm happy, if we finish 4th I'll be happy.
If we win a trophy I'll bear his children or buy a dog & name it after him at least.

I love what Mancini is doing with our team. I've never seen us play such accomplished, intelligent football before. I hope Bobby stays for a very long time. There's always room for improvement of course, so he gets 8/9 out of 10 from me.
