Mancini - Nearly a year at City, what's your rating?

at the moment 6/10, signings ok, man management ( ok, can't believe what papers say, but something has to have some truth ? ) so not sure, tactics, sorry a little too negative at home, shame, because some of the away performances have been excellent and thats where he loses points for me.
but i do believe he will bring success and many a good piss up, sorry, trophy !

7/10 (which is very good in my book!)

Impressing me all the time!

We look extremely well drilled, well organised, confident, dominant... in defence.
In midfield we keep the ball well, win the ball back well (de Jong, not so much Yaya!), get the ball moving around the pitch (going backwards twice to eventually create a chance is better than going forward immediately and losing it!) to get the forwards involved. My one criticism here is that the tempo of passing is sometimes too slow!
Up front now we have our first choice front three of Balotelli-Tevez-Silva our movement and chances created is superb! After a good ten games of playing together we're gonna be frigtning with these three!

My biggest criticism troughout the whole team is our very poor finishing at times! But that's not Mancini's fault. The players need to stay calm, confident and focused and not flap, and we'd'v beaten Blackburn, Birmingham and Bolton all about 6-0!

7/10 for me.

Progress solid but not spectacular so far.

Positives
He made an immediate difference to a defense that had been leaking embarassing goals, this has been sustained to date.
There has been a gradual improvement in out attacking play, though we still have to demonstrate that we can beat the 10 men behind the ball defense with any consistency. We look as if we are coalescing as a side.
We are close to the top of the table with nearly half a season gone though I feel this is at least in part due to a significant weakening of rags and Chelsea.
His signings are looking in the main promising.

Negatives
Progress in the three domestic cups that he has been in has been very poor.
Although some of the rumours of an unhappy camp are undoubtedly press bullshit he does not seem to have the personalityto keep some awkward but talented players such as Ade and Robinho on board.
We have struggled to score against teams that we have outplayed such as Blackburn Brum and S/land.

Average
Our finishing position last season and our points so far is probably what would be reasonably expected from a competent manager with a very well resourced but novice team.

Promising so far and I certainly hope stays and we improve but has not overachieved to warrant more than 7/10 so far.

7/10 for me.

Generally quite happy, he is playing with alot of Hughes players too. When he gets his 'own' team i think we could start to dominate for years to come.

For me he has to be here at least for the next 3 seasons if we do not win anything then we will see the best of him.

7/10.

It was important that we stopped leaking goals (conceding 3 at home to Burnley was embarrassing) but I'd like to see more in our favour, too. I've always preferred the City mentality under Keegan than I did under Sven. Just score more than they do!

Lots of disappointment last season with exits from both Cups and then missing out on Top 4 - but any Manager needs the bare minimum of a full season to get his ideas across. We're presently Top 4, progressing in Europe and have a potentially classic FA Cup tie to look forwards to.
