Mancini - Nearly a year at City, what's your rating?

Got to say 7.5 / 10 for me.

Hopefull that this will rise more as the season goes on.

My initial worry was the defensive nature of the team but i can see now the way he wants to play and once we have a couple of games with a few more goals scored we'll be motoring.

I like the way he has tols Ade and AJ to knuckle down and work more, although with Jo in team not sure how that works.

It will be interesting to see how we do against the big clubs away from home.

At the moment we are strong enough that i feeel we could beat anyone on our day.

7/10... some of his tactical decisions do defy any kind of logic. taking your main striker for a holding mid when we are trying to score a winning goal being one

He has improved our defense immensely, but gets an 8 because he still seems to be a bit cautious at times when we should be attacking. That is improving a bit also.

This is the man to take us forward. Slowly but surely he is getting His players, his squad, his way of playing. Even if we dont finish top 4 this year id back him next year

I love the way Mancini has set the team up. We're becoming a superb passing team.

The starting XI against Bolton will get better and better the more they play together.

He'll look an even better manager once he's removed some of the irritants from the squad that Hughes signed and replaced them with young, hungry players.

7/10 from me. We look a much more effective team in some areas of the pitch but are still struggling to find a rhythm in others.

Pluses:
Joe is a better all-round keeper than Shay.
Much more solid in defence.
Much better at holding the ball in midfield.
There are times when we look awesome going forward.

Minuses:
We rely on Tevez for goals far too much & no contribution from midfield.
Not as fluent going forward and we're often taking a second or two more on the ball when it should be moved quicker.
Set pieces are simply awful.
