Mancini has not slagged our club , he has stated he thought it was unfair he was sacked and didnt like Soriano. No big deal , hes having a bit of a whinge , wouldnt you if you had done everything your bosses had asked 12 months ahead of schedule , then you are sacked within the next 12 months?
Some have very short memories on here , Bob will always be remembered as a brilliant city manager ,and he will walk into another top managerial job , i just hope Pelligrini takes us to the next level , and also gives the likes of Guidetti,Lopes and Helan etc a chance in the 1st team , its about time we produced a couple of players from our academy ,

Absolutely. Short memories indeed. Not sure Helan will make it here but possibly will make it in top flight.

Mancini will get a top Italian club when he's had a break.

Good to see you've got your sense of humour back dd. Out of intrest have you ever backed a MCFC manager?

with all due respect to fans that rate mancini highly, but,Have you ever thought why Mancini didn't land any of the big jobs that were available this summer?

Big jobs that were available: united, chelsea, real madrid, Psg, Porto, Inter, Napoli , Anzhi, etc.

Pellegrini, had offers from Psg, porto, anzhi, chelsea called him, roma and was the main candidate for the barca job in case vilanova couldn't continue because of his health problems

make whatever you want out of it..

Good first post, ignored amongst the egos...

Rag!

It's difficult not to be when the factions squabble.
The most amusing thing is the reversal. Now The Cabal are now the tubthumpers proclaiming dissenters of the Spanish Duo are maniacs for being critical and The Bottomfeeders are now the dissenters claiming they're doing nothing but having an opinion - the classic Cabal defence. I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It's like wrestling. One day there's a goody, and a baddy, then the switch, and everyone acts like nothing has happened. It's piss funny.
"Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."

How dare you. Are you a rag? You know the rules of bluemoon. You can't crititize the club or the management team in any way.they are from Barcelona Dont you know. People like you are not welcome. You should be banned. You run a terrible risk of insult and banishment you not being a mod and all. Nope, happy clappers and nodding dogs only allowed on here.
lol the cabal have become the happy clappers - unremittingly positive and savaging anybody who isn't!
As you see I said exactly the same thing a week ago, it's a volte face of which Bluemoon can be truly proud.

can i just say It's really hurtful and insulting when someone takes your Internet name and makes it into an insult. It lets you know you're dealing with an incisive arguer, a rapier like wit and a collosus of debate too. 'Bullshitbill' is fucking genius and I bet it Hurt him quite deeply.

With regards to your retro 2012 post, youd better put the sheikh, khaldoon, soriano and txiki on that 'cabal' list mate. Because they agreed.

You could start calling them The Stink, khalpoo, sorry-ah-no and Bumcheeky to really make your point. Some of these clowns will start going 'booooom' and 'back of the net' and all that at you. It will be brilliant.
AC what you did there.
Boom haters gonna hate forza Mancini
infested media ironing fans have become rag spoilt .
If you'll be my bodyguard I will be your long lost pal.

It's early days ... and I know George started it so there's a good chance it'll get pulled for bickering but it certainly has classic potential.

I don't get the hatred on here towards Mancini, who lest we forget was our most successful manager in many posters lifetimes, including mine and I'm 42.

What exactly did he do to invite such animosity ?

Was it the way he turned around a sinking ship that was heading to mid table obscurity (at best) despite having multi millions spunked on it by this generations Alan Ball and within little more than a season had won an fa cup and a third placed league finish? Our first trophy in 35 years and our best league finish since '77 ?

Was it the first league title in 44 years, playing the best sort of swash-buckling attacking football our team has perhaps EVER played, certainly in the top division?

Was it his refusal to play the "likkle city are ruining football" game with the red tops and other chancers of the fourth estate?

Was it his refusal to bow down to the attempted mind games of football's perhaps greatest exponent of the mind games art. Indeed his ultimate and very public triumph in this contest?

Was it his absolute insistence that as manager he should be "in charge" ?

Was it his refusal to accept anything other than total effort from our under performing players and his inability to hide away from the fact that he believed multi million pound footballers, paid millions a year should put 100% effort in every week or be called out on it?

Was it the way he showed a truculent, spoiled, selfish Tevez that it was his way or the highway? A mere few weeks after "the greatest disciplinarian in the history of the game" had been bent over and forcibly pleasures by the fat granny shagging bastard?

Was it the way he refused to kow tow to gorgeous joe and his lovely dandruff free locks and instead dared to criticise him for basic errors brought on by complacency?

Was it the way he clearly let his team know in no uncertain terms that "if I substitute you, you come off the pitch sharpish. And if you sulk whilst doing so don't expect a pat on the back and a handshake for the cameras" ?

What was it?

It can't be because he has only spent his entire life in the game can it?

I fully understand that for some on here that is not as important or as impressive as bankrupting an airline.

Or snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the saga of the signing of one of the most exciting young players in the world, even though one of his key remits was to improve our recruitment processes?

Is it simply because Mancini wasn't "involved with Barça"

It's pathetic and thank god it isn't something you see a lot of from real city fans.

If pelle doesn't win the lge and cup in the next two seasons replacing Mancini will be a proven error.

But that'll be alright cos some posters will still be celebrating the disgraceful, unprofessional, and frankly amateurish dismissal of our greatest manager for generations, possibly ever.

Wankers.

I agree entirely, spot on!

I realise the concept of evaluating a manager's performance on an ongoing basis is difficult for people like you, but surely the relevance of the fact that the season hasn't started is at least a bit apparent to you. Just a teeny bit? No?
