We can't speak of giving Pellegrini time. Soriano and Txiki have already spoken of their two-three year manager cycles and there is continuing speculation that Guardiola will be the next manager in perhaps as little as two years. I don't think Pellegrini will be here longer than three years on that basis. He's got to get it right pretty quickly. This isn't the start of a management dynasty. It has now been made plain that's not what we're aiming for nor likely to happen. I reckon he could have a poor season (no trophies, 2nd place) and survive but I don't think he could have two poor seasons - and nor should he have longer than that. We have a strong nucleus already plus Navas, Fernandinho and I think at least one other big addition. Time is not his ally.

Kin hell Mancini....Time to move on.
I agree the club made the right decision and I was a huge inner.

The cup final summed it up for me.Players just clearly didn't like or want to play for him.

That says more about the players than Mancini.
Call me old fashioned, but arent the players supposed to do what the manager says, they get fucking paid enough, and as for not wanting to play or cant be arsed playing in a cup final to win it for the fans, theres no excuse and in the future shouldnt be allowed to put on a pair of boots.

post of the fucking thread.

Now I know why Bobby took Tevez off in the FA Cup ... he saw the writing on the wall and didn't want to give Manu the chance to win his first trophy in August thus ensuring the season was automatically a success!

I agree mate. I didn't give it a x4 because it would've been predictable but on the scorecard in my mind it was the post of the thread.

Mancini made some wrong decisions but also delivered the clubs first titles and I will always be grateful for that because it wasn’t easy for him. Think Soriano and Cheeky have made the right decision bringing Manuel in but the way it was handled back in May was poor. IMO he should of been sacked before the cup final or been given one more year. I don’t think Soriano gave Mancini any respect or cared about what he had done for MCFC in the past. He had is vision where he wanted the club to go and Mancini was not in his plans.

No one really knows what went on with Mancini and Soriano, I just got the impression they wouldn’t be working together for long. Bit of a cheap shot by Bobby with the airline comment, he has more class than that.

I can see why he is pissed off though because he did deserve more time but his poor man management skills cost him his job. Wish Bobby manc all the best
If we finish third in the league, will you still think Pelligrini is the right man.

We are not the only variable....
Dont understand
