Mercer wins hands down his time at Manchester city he took a very ordinary team to the top flight of European football
If joe had the money available that Mancini had you can only dream of how high Manchester city could've climbed
But saying that Robs is not doing a bad job

Has to be Joe Mercer given the relative resources. But totally different eras, totally different circumstances. Bobby is doing just fine so far.

Incomporable really due to the money,different eras etcetera.When we won the title in 1968 it was possible for almost any team to build from scratch and have a chance.With the tv and champions league money available for the top teams now that isn't the case.We will be the last ones to break into it and do so as FFP has now slammed the one hope clubs had of a rich benefactor coming in and helping,as in our case.

An ordinary team? Bell,Lee,Summerbee,Young were far from ordinary!
