Heard from a marketing friend of mine that has links with the club and is good friends with Cassell that Mancini is very shortly to be replaced by Guus Hiddink. I'd love this to happen but I just can't see it going ahead due to the bad press that the owners would get. Apparently the players have been complaining to Marwood about Mancini.

Do you believe everythin people in marketing tell you?

The agreement with Turkey doesn't start until August, there is no reason he cannot see us out until the end of the season like he did with Chelsea

PMSL should see his house new double glazing every year changes phone gas and electric suppliers every six months has a Sinclair C5 and every other useless gadget you could imagine!!!

He took the Turkey job and personally I don't think Hiddink would touch City with a 10 foot pole.

Your marketing friend is talking shit... that's what marketing people get paid for by the way.

I hope not! Whilst he's no doubt a fine coach he did a good job at Chel$ki with players he inherited, who were pissed off but were already a rounded, winning team. They needed their morale building back up and he did a fine job.

We are no where near the finished article, if Bobby Manc has to go it surely could only be for Jose. We need somebody who can build a squad over time, using the backbone of what we've currently got. I don't believe there is anybody else for the job IF Mancini fails.

What's for sure though is that we are still not getting consistent management, we're still swapping 'em like our undies which is not the way forward!
