Honestly. I think we would get through the group stage and fuck up against the first big team.

All I care about right now is the semi. I can't tell you how much I want to win that and let the end of May be the time for this thread. We need a uni.. ermm a joint front in the meantime. Players don't need much of an excuse to underperform, lets not have the stands provide it.

As each day goes by, you're softening...

I give it one more bad result!

I must admit i've noticed the wind has been knocked out of SWP's back posts lately aswell

Without doubt. But now isn't the time as stated.

-- Tue Apr 12, 2011 9:04 pm --

I don't want the upheaval of a new manager in principle , but in practice These^^^^^^^^^

You 3 must be having a laugh! Martin O'Neill is like Pearce on acid. Jumping up and down on the touchline does not mean passion for the game.

Look at his record with Villa and in particular what he did when they went behind. Their record of conceding first and getting anything from the game was woeful. He has even less of a 'Plan B' than Mancini has and that is saying something.

LOL I love the idea of Pearce on acid !!!!!!
Gotta be more passion there and team spirit

Not for the first time this season he looks like a broken man. The interview after last night he had either been crying or is under major stress his eyes were red and the tone of his voice was that of a man with no confidence what so ever. Uncoherent waffling about how it is his fault and he made mistakes was painful and embarrasing to watch.

I think the players and staff know he is out off his depth and is just about holding together. I fear it could be a very bad day saturday :(

couple of silver linings when Mancini gets the boot, platt & balotelli will be gone too & bellamy may come back.Might be worth losing the semi after all
