Mancini out (Merged)

Mancini dissapointed me a lot on Monday but even he said himself he made mistakes. He needs to beat the rags on Saturday and finish in the top four to keep his job, it's a simple as that.

If we do that then even biggest haters of him can not say he has done well.

If we do that I will gladly eat humble pie. I just cant see it. Our form since xmas has been that of a team hoping to finish 7th/8th

Everton away will be much like Liverpool, Spurs at home like last year and that leaves four other games that we have to win. Blackburn away has almost become make or break.

I think I know what you meant, but...

MANCINI OUT NOW!!

All as I can say is that Didsbury Dave, K. Reeves, Tolmies and I were all saying exactly the same six months ago that we are now. No bandwagon jumping, no knee jerk reactions. We saw it coming and went to great lengths to put our necks on the chopping block for 95% of Bluemoon to shoot us down in flames.

The fact that considerably more people agree with us now and considerably less people are shooting us down in flames, only goes to reinforce the belief that Didsbury Dave simply believes he is right because he is!:)

I'm actually out of energy on the whole issue. I wrote 3,000 words on the issue in the last KK (well 2,700 because 300 I copied and pasted from a fellow poster on here whose name I couldn't remember to give him the credit he deserved for it:)) and just feel too deflated by the whole issue to write anymore. (If anyone wants to read it on the off chance, PM me and I'll email it as it's too big for a post.

The kindest way I can describe Mancini is that he is a clueless buffoon. Stronger words get used when I've had a couple of pints of Guinness.

So if you are wrong and say we win the FA cup and finish 3rd or 4th will you come on here and apologise?

We need to go on a great run of form, it's that simple. The most we have ever done is 3, we are playing the rags on Saturday who are on an 8 game winning run. That is what dissapointed me on Monday, we had a great result against Sunderland and went to Liverpool who were missing Gerrard, Johnson and Skrtel, it was a great chance to go and pick up a great result and go into the semi with some real form under us.

I think I'm most disappointed because I've gone from a staunch 'inner' to being bored out of my skull watching us play, to questioning his tactics and playing style because of that, to firmly on the fence and Monday just about pushed me off the fucker. I'm clinging on by the fingernails.

We might dick the rags on Saturday, but seeing the players choose just to not give a flying fuck against Liverpool is something I'm not going to be able to get past easily. I'm still fuming tbh.

We've been dogshit in the past, but I dont know if we've ever been that gutless.

Here is proof that Mancini is a buffoon...just got this flyer posted through my door [yeah i'm bored watching Spuds V Real..and the buffoon comment inspired my photoshopping.!!]

Hit the nail on the head. Winning the FA Cup and coming 3rd or 4th will not change this approach. I want success, I want Champs League, I want a trophy. I would happily take boredom to get us this in the short-term but it's not the answer and isn't looking that likely. We are dropping down this league.

Hell of a lot of contradictions there.

Explain please.

I have re-read and accept that the bit about short-term boredom being acceptable goes against my view on the current negativity. However, the point I am trying to make is that the current negativity does not look like getting us CL football this season and that it is also not acceptable as a long term approach on which to stabilise the management situation.

-- Wed Apr 13, 2011 8:39 pm --

That's how I see it and the results since new year back up my view with the FA Cup run disguising the real shortcomings of the manager and his style. The key word is "now". There looked to be progress up to new year but we have stalled badly without any noticeable change in tactics.
