I don't see Mancini turning this situation around and I am not talking about retaining the title.

Success is not final failure is not fatal it is the courage to continue that counts

Mancini hasn't learned a single thing from his mistakes and I would of been happy for us to progress in Europe.

It's a really difficult one for me and I've been contemplating it a little over the course of the weekend.

I don't believe in chopping and changing, but stability isn't always a panacea either. Ignoring united as that is a unique situation, you can look to Spurs and compare them to Arsenal. Changing their manager regularly hasn't prevented Tottenham overtaking their North London rivals in most people's eyes.

The key thing is knowing when a manger has run out of ideas, lost influence with the squad and impetus on the pitch.

Are we there with Mancini? I remain yet to be convinced, but I'm starting to have creeping doubts about him I must confess.

Sunday takes on "massive" proportions now, that's for sure.

And that I think is the opinion of most Blues

Why Everton? Because before Moyes instilled some stability into the club, they were faltering and were on the verge of relegation. Under Smith, they were one of the most uninspiring and lackluster teams, finishing 14th in 99/00, 16th in 00/01 and were in 01/02, were in the drop zone in March before Moyes came in and ensured their survivial.
 
Since then the club has turned around, everyone knows that Moyes is the manager win, lose or draw. Every player from reserve to first team knows this and give tremendous respect to Moyes.
 
If Mancini can have the same positional sense in the club as Moyes does at Everton, we will be lightyears ahead as a club to where we are now...

There are many reasons why we've not done as well as last season - see the thread on it. Most out of the control of the manager. It's the subject of the other topic but here's a few:

Injuries to Kompany, Aguero, Richards.
Loss of form of Tevez with no alternative
Sale of players like De Jong, AJ and Balotelli

You could have Brian Clough or Guardiola in charge, anyone you want, they'd have all found this season more challenging than the last because of issues such as the above.

I don't speak for everyone just myself, I don't want instant success or world domination or anything like that I just want to see our players play to a lvl fitting there ability. We seen early last season what our team is capable of, its a bar we set ourselves yet failed to keep hold of were regressing under mancini not improving.

Our players have no balls? Wrong its Bobby that needs to grow a pair, his fear of losing/conceding is costing us both in terms of points, performance and prevents the development of any fringe players/youngsters. We play like robots our play is laboured, slow,unimaginative & uninspiring. It's no wonder the players look so unenthusiastic would be like being the worlds greatest gardener and being put on weeding duty.

It beggars belief how he is so well regarded he won the league with the most expensive ever assembled in a league where the standard is at its all time lowest, and even then it was a struggle. United are looking at a record points haul, cos there team is so good? No, cos the league is so WEAK!

sorry but this is absute rubbish we've been embarrassed in the champs league and not played well all season and to top it off mancini slating players off in public something fergie would never do!
