Get the best they can ASAP obviously. Is there any reason, other than a bit of idle gossip, to think he will walk away ?

No it will be the new whispering campaign, now we are back on track they will whisper that he is ready to walk away and abandon us! It makes a change from the contacts with Jose, some people really need to stop reading the papers and Goal.com

To be fair, that was Moggi. I don't think he has a vendetta against us or even cares where we finish.

When Mancini came he wanted to achieve something with a Premier League team. As things stands at this moment in time we are in a fantastic position to win the cup and and to get fourth which if we did would give us a platform to go on and challenge for the league. I can't see Mancini, who is starting to look like he can really do something, would want to give this up to go back to Italy even for the team he supported as a boy.

It might shock you but i agree!

If the decision was left solely with Mancini i think he would stay for what it's worth

I have learnt over the last few weeks, that the vendetta that some on here have against the manager, is nothing actually to do with football or results, it's more to do with "being right" rather than hold their hands up and say may be they were wrong and were being a little knee jerk, (which would be the decent thing) they have to carry on, the possibility of 3rd and an FA cup must horrify them, and cause them sleepless nights.

I for one will not hold anything against anyone (and I am sure that many are the same) if you just admit you got it wrong and get back to supporting the club, you are allowed to change, we wont think any the less of you

There is no vendetta against Mancini, just criticism of his obvious failings which have been masked by the quality of players available to him, most of which he did not buy. I believe that he is slowly learning the ropes, but too slowly for some of us. We do not judge him on results or league position, but performances, which are not of a good enough standard considering the players which he has had available. Some excellent players, of course, are not available to him because of his own choices. They now play for other teams.
On the other hand he plays Kolarov, which means that we are virtually a ten-man team, week after week.
How anyone can support this manager is a mystery, unless you ignore team performances and concentrate solely on results ( which can be the product of exceptional player performances on the day)
We all support our Club, but sometimes that means opposing the present manager, as in this case.

sorry Dan completely disagree - there is a serious vendetta by some on here - i've had to read enough of the shit i'm afraid to know so - "if Berbaflop had put away one of those chances" etc, - nothing short of a fukin disgrace in my book, I reckon its almost verging some Blues almost crying inside when we progress - Mancini is our man, he's made mistakes, he's acknowledged them and is moving forwards, what is there not to love about him tbh?!
