Mancini Out

If fans think he is rubbish then they should do their research on him... he was the same at Inter before they went on to be successful, he built from the back forwards, when he has a solid rotational defensive unit - which we are quite close to with VK, NDJ, MR and now even JL who has definitley stepped up his game in the last few months - he will then focus on his attacking flair...

Personally, I think he's doing very well with in his first 16 months - his first FULL season in charge and we are in a healthy position in the league, are very difficult to beat at home and are in a Cup Final knocking out the rags on the way - a day non of us will forget for a long time. Hero.

Long live Bobby Manc!

I feel sorry for you mate. If Saturday isn't your style then good luck to you. And before you say anything that is how Mancini wants this team to play even if it doesn't always come off.

Forza Mancini is in full force!
I feel sorry for you if Liverpool away is your style, Brum at home, Salzburg away, chelsea away, notts co away, arsenal away....the list is endless

Well to be fair, you've only mentioned 6 games over a 16 month period, and didn't we beat Notts County 5-0 at the return leg, and wasn't it during a congested period when we were playing 1 match every 4 days and had mltiple injuries to key players?

Just sayin' is all.

he can finish top 4, win the cup and find the cure for cancer and he still wont wash wish some city fans

his style isnt my cup of tea, im finding it hard to criticise because of all the great memories of saturday, but he isnt the answer.

The problem is that the Mancini backers dont seem to grasp that the Mancini outers still only want the best for the club. We all want the same thing and that is a successful Manchester City. I have been a Mancini outer for a while now but I will love to be proven wrong. Saturday was something special and Mancini has to take the credit for that but that aside he still has to produce top 4 this season and if he doesnt then he should be sacked!

Origami full respect to you mate for having the 'balls' to say your having second thoughts.

I've always disagreed with the Mancini outers because Mancini has PROVEN he has the credentials to take us where we want to be and despite the natural ups and downs we are bound to have in a season we now have to give Mancini time to build on what he is developing.

That's not to say he won't be beyond criticism in particular games and there have been times where I have agreed with the rationale of some fans who have criticised tactics in certain games but that doesn't automatically translate to him bieng clueless or worthy of the sack.

I think Barcelona are on a pedestal and they appear to be the only team that appear to have blended great slick passing football with some steel. Mancini is rightly making sure we have the steel - the Hollywood Barcelona esque stuff will come with time and the players developing and growing together.

Lets not destroy what we are building and 'for once' back a manager irrespective of certain decisions that we will disagree with along the way.

Its simple, keep the faith, and stop the knee jerk reactions. Forza Mancini

The bottom line is that Mancini's style of play is not consistent. Sometimes we play fantastically well like we did against United in the 2nd half... but a lot of times our performances, tactics and set up were absolutely abysmal, like against Liverpool on Monday.

It is comical how quickly people forget about this when we win a game.

Once he can get the team to put out performances like the one against United consistently, I am sure the naysayers and Mancini Outers will be silenced. Until then they have every right to criticize him.

I was absolutely fuming when I saw the teamsheet against Liverpool and knew that it will end in tears and it did. My hope is that Mancini has finally understood that there are some players he just CANNOT drop when they are fit.

I hope that he finally realized that this team can be A LOT MORE successful he just releases the shackles a bit and lets them have a go.

Good on you for admitting your 'Mancini out' bollocks was premature and negative.
If we lose the final but get 4th, or if we win the final and lose 4th, Im sure you wont know what to do; will you disappear up your own arsehole?

afuckinmen to that.

I think the sad thing is that both sides of the argument (well certain segments - and I include myself in that) have become so desperate to try and score points and make cheap shots, that they've lost sight of the fact that it actually has fuck all to do with us whether Mancini keeps his job or not. Anyone who says they know for certain that he will OR won't is a liar....the only men who know aren't talking....so we won't know until the season ends.

I think it's fair to say that there are some question marks hanging over him, otherwise we'd be going into the final stretch with a ringing endorsement for Roberto from the powers that be (as we had last season)...equally, I think he's on course to achieve the minimum expectations set upon him so there's actually no reason for a ringing endorsement. See, I just contradicted myself again. It's tough this being a City supporter malarkey....can be so conflicting!

I think we should evaluate at the end of the season. We're yet to win the FA Cup and we're yet to secure 4th. Who wants to get smug towards those expressing caution at our latest Manager whilst the season is still in progress? It's dangerous.

FA Cup and finishing fourth is far from the minimum expectation in my book and actually represents a fantastic season. There has been highs and lows but if we do what we have to in these next 7 games then next season should be one to really get excited by.
