Mancini Out

Unfortunately, your book and my book don't count. It's what the owners and board expect which is what matters...just ask Mark Hughes.

Of course but it seems to have been fair game for the doubters to give it out the past few months so it's fair game that after a win and performance like Saturday the other side have the same rights to speak. What you've just said has been the case all season but it hasn't stopped posters like yourself talking about what a clown Mancini is and how he should be gone at the end of the season.

Like I said the other day, the posters who have usually clogged this board up by this time in the week are conspicuous by their absence this week. Don't get me wrong it is fantastic for the board and if Saturday has changed the mind of a few fans then even better but I won't hold my breath and will expect the next Mourinho thread to be around soon.

Brilliant. Doubters can doubt and give it out all season whenever we lose but when the inners rejoice and give it out after a win , they "should just shut up and enjoy the win". How hypocritical.

But right now all I care about is the fact that he got it right on Saturday. I'm going to bask in that, thanks very much, don't need our own fans bringing me down.
no you do that very well yourself - the pity is we have to watch

Good on you for admitting your 'Mancini out' bollocks was premature and negative.
If we lose the final but get 4th, or if we win the final and lose 4th, Im sure you wont know what to do; will you disappear up your own arsehole?

lol. Whatever happens I'm sure he'll be on here starting a new thread so we all know how important his opinion is

Personally I think a Mourinho thread is unlikely and would be a waste of time anyway. The draw with Barca with Jose 'parking the minibus' at home which whilst drawing criticism in some quarters has largely been accepted as a necessary step along the way to trying to combat Barca's current dominance.

RM cannot now match last years points total but the CL campaign has been much better and it does seem that RM have accepted that sacking Jose for not beating Barca in the short term is a futile exercise and that committing to him and his methods for more than one season is the only real option in town. If arguably the best coach in world football says he needs time for his methods to work then what else can you do but go along with it? Even RM have to accept reality at some point.

If Jose gets RM to the CL final then he will be at RM next season as they will then win the competition. He won't go until he has the La Liga title and RM won't let him go for love nor money. If Barca triumph in the CL the signs are RM will still stick with Jose because there is nowhere else to go and a SF CL appearance is improvement on the last few seasons. The power play within the club has (seemingly) been won by Jose clearing the way for next season to have a go at Barca.

The only caveat is that this is still Real Madrid and abject wank decision making can never be entirely ruled out. As a total Jose fan boy I have been following him at RM this season and its been quite a fascinating battle to see how he and his methods translate. He hasn't got them 100% on board but he is getting there.

-- Wed Apr 20, 2011 2:51 pm --

Also just reading that Jose will go with no recognised striker tonight against Barca in the Cup but with Ozil as a 'false no. 9' ala Tevez

Interesting to see whether he does or is just messing with us...

Manciti - going from what I often see on this forum, is a very underrated and misunderstood manager.

he's not perfect, but he is an extremely savvy individual.

I don't think his position is in danger, and neither do I salivate myself silly over our every performance (as some are good, and some are not so good) but he's the right guy for right now and I don't expect that situation to change anytime soon.

in my perfect world we'll win the F A Cup and qualify for CL next year, with ManUre cocking-up everything they're still playing for... oh bliss, ehehehe

(but irrespective of these actual outcomes, on balance nothing will be changing, including all the crazy posts we see in Bluemoon)

Alright....I'll leave you boys to your insults and your faux indignation...like I said, the owners will decide what happens to Roberto. Not us.

I wasn't insulting and I was intending to insult. I like bluemoon the way it is now and long may it continue.

That's such a weird thing to say. You like Bluemoon after we've had a good victory...well, so do the rest of us. Now ask yourself, if it's been so unlike this for so long, why has that been the case? I bet you a million pounds it has nothing to do with agendas, or people being unfair on Mancini. It's been because results and performances have struggled to get beyond 'average' for most of the season...

I know there's groundswell of opinion that Mancini needs time, and that next season we'll see a better more progressive team. I hope so, but I'm not convinced. Roberto hasn't sacrificed his principles once this season - and I doubt that he intends to next season either. The question mark will hang over whether those principles can win him a league in this country until such time as he does...nature of the beast at this level I'm afraid...

Yeah I will be because at least with someone like me I say it how it is no matter what. I am here when we win and I am here when we lose, not like some on here who are only visible when the latest result has benefitted their agenda. Namely the Mancini happy clappers or the Gareth Barry bum boys starting their usual "Where are the (insert name) critics now"? threads.

I am sure we are all grateful for your steadfast support and unique insight no matter what the circumstances
