Mancini Out

Anyone who is " happy" with Mancini have very different expectations than me and possibly our owners .
They can't possibly go to the games, just say we have underachieved is the understatement of the century. We have thrown away point after point game after game.
This seasons prem is the worst in history, we have the best squad ever and yet we are clinging to 4th spot, we should be winning it ffs.
I can't see him here next season but if he is surely he will have learnt by now how to play the game, play that negative again and we'll be back next April shitting it wondering if we'll make the champions league.

I dont think we dare risk that.
Its funny then that every home & away games we are singing his name in our masses why do you think that is?

I'm happy with Mancini and have been to every home game this season and in previous seasons aswell as a handful of away games.

I have different expectations to you because you think we should be winning the league, i think that is a completely unrealistic expectation. Last season we finished 5th, behind United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, 3 of those teams have been finishing in the top four for years now, they have built squads over a number of years and have been there and done it to to speak. We on the otherhand have a manager who's yet to complete a full season in charge, have a group of players who have great ability but apart from a few of the players most have been here less than 2 seasons. If you think because you sign a load of players who are expensive that you should automatically finish above the likes of United, Arsenal and Chelsea who have had top players for a number of seasons and have squad members who've been there for a number of seasons and had time to get to know each other properly then in my opinion you have an unrealistic expectation

Mancini's got his faults, he makes mistakes but he's also shown signs that he knows what to do, his managerial career so far will show you that when he takes charge of teams they improve, they progress. As it stands now we have progressed under Mancini and he's not even been here a full season yet, we are in the Fa Cup Final and are in pole position for 4th place, just 8 points behind 2nd with a game in hand. How can people not be happy with that?

It is a fair question but one that is answered in the 1st line of my post. I had to state which side of the fence I was on, If I don't then i feel that the post doesn't have the same message. After Saturday the forum was bound to be clogged up with Mancini inners with hardons, you know the same people who last Monday, after the Liverpool game, were flacid and nowhere to be seen.

I guess I am sick of the tit for tat that goes on on the forums depending on whether we have won or lost a single game. We all want the same thing and I would love nothing more than for Mancini to prove me and all the others wrong. My opening post was supposed to get that message across, some have taken it in that context, others have decided to use the thread as a way of abusing other posters.

Well you could have picked a better title in my opinion, one which wasn't there as an easy wind up to those who want Mancini to stay.

I'm also sick of the tit for tat when we have won, or lost (or even drawn) a game.

Its time we all just got behind the club, manager, and players, we have a great chance to win a cup and qualify for the champions league, and as we showed on Saturday we the fans can make a difference, it worries me that some would rather have a go at the manager.

I'm not in or out, that is way out of my hands anyway, personally I think he's under achieved, but the season isn't done yet, and we need to be all behind everyone now until it is. I don't think a post entitled "Mancini out" is in the best interest of anyone just now, no matter what your post actually said.

I'm sorry but it is only a wind up if you are a Mancini inner.......who is missing a few brain cells.

If my title was "Mancini In" and then the 1st line of the opening post was "bed with a gorilla" I cant imagine the Mancini outers would be outraged by someone creating a Mancini must stay thread!

-- Thu Apr 21, 2011 8:38 am --

Can I ask, why did you title it "Mancini out" ? If you wanted it to be a positive post and all that ? Its a reasonable question I think.

Because he wouldn't get enough attention otherwise.

Thread titles like this just give the lurking journos more ammo

You are seeing things that aren't there my friend. The opening post of the thread is a pro Mancini post from me, a person who has been a Mancini outer for months.

I come on here because I enjoy talking about City with fellow blues, it has nothing to do with attention seeking!

As for any lurking journos if they are going to try and twist this thread into "City fans want Mancini out" then quite frankly they dont need me do they because they are quite capable of making stories up themselves.

If this league is such a terrible league, why are last season's double winners currently 6 points off of the top?

It's so unrealistic to think that a team as new as ours isn't going to drop points here and there.

Because the spine of their squad is getting older and has yet to be replaced. Lampard is also a key figure and has been absent because of injuries.

To be fair when you think we finished 5th last season then to win it this season is unrealistic. However looking how the league has unfolded with no team really taking it by the scruff of the neck we could possibly have sustained a better challenge than we did. I certainly dont think we should be hanging on for 4th the way we are.

And rightly so we are all there to support the team, if anyone starting singing Mancini out I'd pull them up.
We can discuss it on here though, that's why we have a forum.

Excuse me Bill - season ticket holder thanks very much - been a Blue since I was 5, some 35 years ago, so sorry you views are not quite as concrete as you'd like to think - I'm prepared to be patient and back the gaffer that's the difference instead of chopping and fukin changing again!

I suppose its split on mancini and his future i for one am still on is side,i just think winning the league this year is a season to early,i think most city fans will settle for 4th and hopefully the fa cup...But the 4th is paramount way way above the f a cup!

Red Roms interference and the sacking of Wilkins.

Without the above they would have walked it imo.
