I don't often contribute to the manager threads, and after this post a lot of you will say don't bother in the future

But what the fucking hell are you doing telling us the manager ought to go on the eve of a fucking cup final?

Pellegrini's agent represents a bunch of players including Isco who we're heavily linked with so the meeting between Txiki and him could have been regarding Isco as much as Pellegrini.

Doubt Txiki would so openly meet with him if it was solely regarding replacing Mancini with Pellegrini.

I think Mancini is safe and Khaldoon and co. don't feel the need to play down the speculation due to Mancini's 5 year deal.

I fully agree with this point.

I cannot not believe that the day before City are in the FA CUP final that some
so called fans are keeping this thread going. You do not know how lucky we are

Nothing should unsettle the Team or Roberto at this stage.

We can win the Cup tomorrow, lets stick to that.

I actually agree with you guys in spirit but I seriously doubt that any players are reading any of this stuff, let alone being affected.

The only stuff that can "destabilize" the team is via the media, and the media create these stories, not message board posters. Fundamentally, what will happen with Roberto is probably interesting and worth discussing (and I think I hopped in this thread last week). But tomorrow's the fucking cup final, it's just weird to be thinking about this particular issue right today. We can talk about Roberto all we want come Sunday and we'll have an additional data point as well.
