OK - I am deluded. Sorry I thought I witnessed multiple balls into our penalty area with noone there to score. Thought I witnessed 6 outfield players staying back whilst 4 ran around in isolation trying to score by themselves. Must be mistaken. But I don't really think I am.

It's not always the players on the pitch but the mindset they take on to it. Passing sideways, slow passing when a quicker tempo is needed. Players finding space, players going to the player in posession to recieve the ball. Players showing invention. The back line pushing up. These are all things which aren't happening and it's because Mancini has turned them into a sterile unit.
