Mancini put out a fighting statement and not nicey nice words. Remember how we were at the start of the season? The players know we can mop all the games now regardless of who we play cos we have the skill, experience and confidence. Its all about "how much" we want it now.

I really haven't got a problem with him saying that at all. He can't win anyway, if he started sounding wishy washy on the issue the media would say he was bottling it or getting his excuses in. As it is they will be desperate for us to fail so they can remind him of this.

All we have to do is win our remaining football matches.
Mancini is trying to lead the way in terms of belief.
If he came out and said "meh, maybe" what message would that give to our squad, opposition, fans and of course our title rivals.
