So he seems to think we only need two or three players to start winning a lot and on a regular basis.
If indeed that's true, that we're only looking to bring in two or three, I doubt it will be squad players, but rather players going straight into the starting XI. And also, it would suggest that there not be a mass-exodus from the club.

Javi Martinez and Eden Hazard would be two fantastic signings.
If Tevez leaves we'll need a striker as he third one coming in, and as Real Madrid has now said Higuain is going nowhere, I wonder if we possibly might be going after Cavani.

Those three will cost a lot of money and I don't know if it's at all realistic.

Winger & Midfielder (preferably one that can ping balls around like Pizzaman).

3rd player for me would be a toss-up between a striker and central defender...but if it's a striker, somebody's leaving.

We should seriously be looking at getting Hoillet on a free tbh. Could be an immense squad player for us. Especially if we ever need to change tactics & play with 2 wingers. I think he is better than AJ. He's also able to cross with his right foot on the left flank.

I don't think there is any interest in Lukaku at all. With so few signings I'm guessing they will all be players expected to make an immediate impact.

I think we all can agree on which positions needs strengthening though: first and foremost a central defensive midfielder with a capacity to move the ball forward quickly and accurately.

And then a wide attacker, creative and quick.

I still don't think Mancini is looking for classical wingers and will stick to his philosophy of primarily playing the ball through the defence rather then using speed on the wings and crosses. Controlling the ball keeping possession, looking for the right opportunity to attack. Absolutely! Not the big name many might expect, but big names doesn't guarantee anything as we have seen over the years.

I would say that Hazard and Martinez are the top targets. That's what it looks like. For a wide attacker and central midfielder respectively.

We don't need a striker if only 1 of our current strikers leave. Which would be Tevez. But if Dzeko leaves aswell....then yes. In todays mail it says Mancini wants to keep Dzeko and will sit down with him in the summer and convince him he still has a future here.

Can also see a similiar kind of signing to Savic maybe coming in. Someone more unkown with potential but fairly cheap.

Has to be Hazard and Martinez plus replacement for tevez. If Ronaldo is available then there's our 3. Other than that not sure who would be the third as they would need to be proven.
