Mancini quote in MEN: "two or three more players"

I think the whole RVP + Hazard thing is being over blown and people need to chill out . I think we still need to keep tevez so in other words TEVEZ MUST STAY and i say this because if you look at last season (2010/2011)Tevez only played 28 games and yet he scored 20 goals ,remember this was when Nasri wasn't at city and we all know Nasri has been very helpful with the assists he and there and 2 seasons back he scored 23 goals in 35 games . so if Tevez can pull this off with little or No assist provider (Lets not forget those incredible free kicks Tevez gives us) then i think if Tevez plays at least 30 games he would definitely see City have a 12 point advantage by March next season , believe me . Tevez has played about 72 games for city and has scored an INCREDIBLE 47 goals , RVP on the other hand has played 194 games and has scored 96 times FAILING TO SCORE in about 104 games (rough estimation )

RVP

TEVEZ
wiki : tevez

There are times when RVP would have clear cut chances and for some reason he would fail to put the ball at the back of the net take the AC MILAN VS ARSENAL match for example , he could have scored 3 in that game he failed to do so like wise the Norwich game he had TONS of chances and yet failed to do so . TEVEZ remains one of the most deadly finishers and goal predator in Europe , i mean he came back from months of playing golf LOL and scored 5 goals in 2 straight games and was very very influential in troubling United's defense . Like Kaldoon says City ALREADY ARE A NUCLEUS . Besides just how many Arseanal :) players do city need ? besides why swap a 29 year old for another 29 year old ? plus teams like ACMILAN would want to offer very little for a player worth soooo much .

I personally believe its time to create an image for city and most people can identify Tevez with City the same way Rooney = ManU and Messi= Barca , Enough of this mercenary thing , We need to stick to our trusted attackers and fix the midfield / defense and voila !! you have a UCL winning team there .

My suggestion is simple:

1. Yes we need 2 or 3 more players.

2. Before getting these players we need to get rid of some players because of the FFP PLUS you just can't keep buying players if you aren't selling the scrappy ones off : Santa cruz , Adebayor , savic, Kolarov , Toure , Bridge , Dzeko .

3. CITY DOESN'T NEED RVP OR HAZARD . City needs a dynamic midfielder who can take the load of Yaya toure (either kevin prince boateng of Milan or Nuri sahin from real madrid) and then a defensive midfielder who can tackle as well as PASS THE BALL PROPERLY , Nigel de jong in my opinion is a brute in the midfield who can do nothing else than give dirty tackles so a midfielder like real madrids LASSANA DIARRA would be great as he scores goals on rare occasions , passes accurately and tackles brilliantly.

4. LESCOTT is not 100% reliable and i believe you all saw that in the QPR game plus age isn't really on his side . He shouldn't be sold as we need a back up defender since kolo would be going but he should be replaced on the first team with AC milan's THIAGO SILVA who is far better , younger and reliable .

5. Should Madrid refuse to sell Sahin then maybe Gareth bale could do BUT i highly doubt that transfer would happen as tottenham would probably want to sell him higher than 30million EXCEPT we strike a deal that includes Adebayor +15 or 20 million .

so for me its :

1. THIAGO SILVA - 30MILLION RATED .

2. LASSANA DIARRA - wouldn't be more than 10million .

3. Sahin / KBP- same price as lassana or maybe a little higher

4. BALE : If number sahin / kbp aren't sold to us then bale would be great especially if we can get him by offering adebayor plus some cash .

Really think 2 or 3 will turn into 4. Hazard, Sturridge, Lavezzi, Javi Martinez for definsive mid and cb cover if needed.

Midfield maestro who is also good at breaking up play, De Rossi, or anyone else who could do the job.

Quick wide forward, such as Lavezzi or Hazard.

If Kolo leaves, we would need a CB replacement, someone who could slot in next to Kompany. Chiellini would be a good choice, but I doubt he'll ever leave Juventus.

No need for another striker as only one of Dzeko, Tevez and Balotelli will leave. If two leave, go get Cavani or Higuain. In all honesty, we don't need 4 strikers, we have a 30 goal a year guy in Aguero, why would we need RVP?

Why would we buy three forwards?

So Aguero scores 40.

Oh, so we would buy one of the best goal scorers in the world to assist ours? He's not good in the air, he's not strong, and he isn't fast. If Tevez or Balotelli leave we would replace them with a player who's skillset isn't really any different from their's. Except, Tevez is stronger, and Balotelli is faster AND stronger. Mario may not be the same level of player as Van Persie is, but Tevez is and Mario has the ability to one day be on the same level, if not better. So what you are saying is that we need a striker, who really doesn't improve upon the ones we already have, and is injury prone and wouldn't really care about our team, as he said many times before that he's "Arsenal through and through." Also you want to use him (a great goalscorer) as our creative force who has nowhere near the creativity of Silva or Nasri. You make lots of sense.

For me the times we struggled this season were when David Silva was obviously injured and was forced to play with that bad ankle. The only other time we were exposed was when Lescot and Kompany were out and Bobby played young Savic at Centre half where he was hopelessly out of his depth. Later on he switched Micah into the central area he may have learnt a lesson from that. Fortunately it's Bobbys job to sort all this stuff out.

You seem to have forgotten the poor run we had in January - February due to the absence of Yaya .

To i♥city!.

We must NOT keep Tevez, we simply cannot take the risk that he'll decide to go AWOL again, leaving us in the lurch.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Get rid.
