Ok so Gazzetta are running the Dzeko plus Cash for Falcao story, IF its true, how much do you think Edin is rated at?

P.S I don't want Edin sold at all and if anyone is sold it should be Mario

25 mil plus 25 mil.
What's that going to do for them? The only reason they're even selling Falcao in the first place is to raise funds to pay off their enormous debt.

Accepting half of what he's worth plus a player on massive wages they couldn't afford just isn't going to happen.

Never going to be true in a billion fucking years.

They need the money, not half of it plus a player. Shite tabloid rubbish.

They'll need to reinvest a big chunk of the money if they're to replace Falcao, like they did in Falcao himself after selling Aguero. This time I suspect they'll go for a lower value player of around £10million to £20million though and use the rest for the debt. Despite being in debt Atletico are a high quality team (as they are showing this season) so will want a very good striker to replace Falcao. Whether Dzeko appeals to them is another question, he could bag goals for them but stylistically isn't the sort of player they usually have up front. As for his wages I'd hazard a guess that after tax Dzeko earns even less than Falcao does now. Remember Aguero isn't earning much more here than he did at Atletico due to the tax laws.

RSC:
"I do not see myself going back to the Premier League because my family are very settled here and I do not want to keep bringing my children back and forth (between England and Spain)."
Santa Cruz has featured for Malaga in this season's Champions League.
And the former Bayern Munich player says he has received permission to play against his parent club if Malaga are drawn against City in the knockout stages.
"This is something that would be great for me - going back to Manchester to play them in the Champions League," he said.

... I'm relatively certain this is a violation of FIFA rules.

Hleb played against Barca when he was on loan from them.

I think it's only within England that the rules about loanees not playing against their parent clubs exist. For instance, Thibaut Courtois at Atletico played against Chelsea in the Supercup match in August, despite being there on loan from them.

Balo plus 25 Mil please
Balo plus 10 million is more realistic, but PSG will hopefully buy Mario instead.

Mario valued at 38m?? and you think thats realistic?

You've lost the plot,we'll be lucky to get 20m.

The only sure thing is no one has got a clue what is going on with transfers until they happen. I wonder why we appear to chasing this player now. Has the club realised it has ballsed up in the summer market, and is Mancini now being given the green light to get who he wants in January? Seems crazy we could get Falcao half way through the season but not at the start. Another world class striker as a must if we are to retain our crown.
