Mancini Sees Opening League Games As "Problem"

So we'll be looking like this- ??

--------------------Hart--------------------
Richards---Kompany---Lescott-------Kolarov
-------------Zabba------Barry-------------
-------------------Ireland----------------
Johnson---------------------------Bellamy
------------------Adebayor---------------

Maybe 1 or 2 new signings will step in.

Sorry, I can't start a post, but here's a thought. Anyone agree?

City have a tough start to the new season with away visits to Spurs and Sunderland sandwiching a home game against Liverpool, before the easier looking visit of Blackburn and away trip to Wigan.
I just wonder if City's most dangerous early game is, in fact, against Steve Bruce's side. We all know that Spurs are one of City's bogey sides and Liverpool can never be written off, but Bruce will have had the benefit of starting the season with a more or less settled starting eleven. It was sad to hear that the goalkeeper, Gordon, has broken his arm in training, as he had a great game against us last season but Darren Bent, for instance, will be anxious to show what he can really do. Also, I believe that the likes of Malbranque, Richardson and Cattermole will relish the opportunity to pit their wits against City's expensive side.

Sunderland's opening fixtures are against B'ham (h), WBA (a), City (h), Wigan (a). Steve Bruce will be saying to his team we can realistically open the season with four wins out of four. It's always tricky going to the Stadium of Light and winning and although he will view the City match as the toughest he will instil belief in his team to pull off a surprise so early in the season. Mancini may view the Sunderland game as the easier of the openers but I'm not so sure. This is where the managers will earn their money; urging the players to take no games for granted and insisting that these are the matches they must win if they are to be serious contenders for the title.

Tevez was on the next table to my business partner at a restaurant in Marbella in the last couple of days.

So he's clearly on his jollies.

It's all bollocks!

If any of you believe that any of our players won't be back off holiday by the time we play spurs then you really are deluded.

Mancini is doing what Fergie, Wenger, Mourinho, Benitez have been doing for years.

They'll all play believe me. :)

No excuse for Tevez now he should be joining up now shouldnt he ?

Argies didnt get to final ??

Fuck me I bet he's only in Argentina, get him on fucking phone

"Oi Carlos....get your arse on a plane we up the road in New York, see you tomorrow"

Anyone got his number ?

Carlos doing a runner with mascharano?

He's presumably taking about the fact that loads of our players will be playing an international friendly 3 days before the Spurs game, if selected.

11/08/2010 Friendly

Republic of Ireland - Argentina
Denmark - Germany
Ukraine - Netherlands
Mexico - Spain
Serbia - Greece
Paraguay - Costa Rica
Wales - Luxembourg
England - Hungary
Finland - Belgium
Italy - Côte d'Ivoire
USA - Brazil

Hardly ideal having potentially the whole team away.

Unacceptable. People who have been on vacation for 3 weeks need to be back in a month. That's just common sense.

I seriously doubt Tevez would impair out title chances by not being ready to start the season.
