He was a hugely entertaining Hype Man for the takeover for a few days, and helped amp up the giddy mix of dizzying confusion and raw excitement we were all going through at the time, but clearly an absolute chancer when it came down to it - a snake oil salesman, peddling dreams and illusions based on nothing but hot air!
