Really Glad we been linked with Young. Been hoping we get him, play on either wings and his crosses ain't bad either.

add Mata and Hennasy to them 3 and that would be a perfect summer.
Hart Hennasy Taylor
Richards Zabaletta
Kompany Boyatta
Lescott Boateng
Vertonghen Kolarov
Dejong Barry Yaya vieira
Modric Silva Milner
A.Johnson Sanchez Mata
Balotelli Dzeko Guidetti
fantastic squad id really like to see saun stay too but doubt it 21 man over 21s squad.

The viera comment is a bit harsh hes been brilliant this season, coming on bit of stability in the team, and he seems like a father figure to all the young talents we have in our team.revisisland said:g180aj said:Dax777 said:Sanchez, Modric and Vertonghen will be perfect in my opinion

I better be watching Vieira play for the Red Bulls next season.
He was good in spurts. But it is clear he is getting up there in age. There is a point where the value of experience just doesn't match the loss of physical ability anymore. ANd I think we are at that point. However sentimentality might get the best of Mancini and the City heirachy. I hope Viera saves them the trouble and retires.adaminho said:The viera comment is a bit harsh hes been brilliant this season, coming on bit of stability in the team, and he seems like a father figure to all the young talents we have in our team.revisisland said:g180aj said:add Mata and Hennasy to them 3 and that would be a perfect summer.

We already have Barry to take up that mantle. Someone who is experienced, has been around for a while and can be fantastic in spurts. Don't need to bring in any old heads.
Well he doesn't have to leave the club, but he can retire from playing actively. Which I would like. When I am counting the City players who are good enough for runs in the prem and CL, Viera is never on my list. He is just older and losing form rapidly. Even if he gets momentary flashes of circa 2005.leewill31 said:Dax777 said:He was good in spurts. But it is clear he is getting up there in age. i hope he doesn't go because he will be bloody fantastic to have in the backroom staff as a coach!
