Was apparently after the loss to Aston Villa in the Carling Cup he decided Purple was an unlucky colour and banned it henceforth.
Can't imagine meatballs on matchday is the best food to be having? Anyway, his superstitions don't harm anyone and as long as they help give him a positive mentality that can only be a good thing for the team.

I'm not so sure how the colour ban would work as after all we had a purple training kit.
