4 players in and with the sale of players we wont have spent much.

Those four would cost over 100m.

I can't see us getting a lot through sales tbh.

The above team i would suggest it assumes Tevez sold, so-

Tevez 35
Ade 15
SWP 5
given 4
brigge 2
jo 3
caciedo 1
RSC 3

Thats 68 mill and at very conservative prices

Hence the 'power struggle' i'd have thought.

Which is why I imagine we're desperate to involve players in prospective deals.

Definitely, but, other than Cahill and maybe Baines,i just can't see who we would request in exchange given the clubs we will be dealing with will likely be mid table teams at best and then there's the problem of their current wage....?

I can see the club having to take quite a hit just to shift some of our 'deadwood' and then that creates the subsequent problem of further cutting into the transfer budget to satisfy FFP.....

-- 30 May 2011 14:55 --

Given their current contracts i'd say more like 10m at best for Ade and 3m for SWP.The others 5m between them.

Still praying Tevez stays....

I'm still hopeful Tevez will stay.

Oh and we won't get 15m for Ade.

Real are trying to bend us over for Adebayor, they want him for about 6m apparently! They know we badly need to get him off the books, which is why I hope someone like Bayern or Roma come in for him to cause an auction.

£6m? Lol.

Tell them we'll do a straight swap for Higuain.

Then negotiate down to Benzema.

On revista apparently Real Madrid owners want rid of Higuain and benzema kept but mourinho wants it the other way around.

Not wanting blow my own trumpet but having been posting for a while that Benzema will not be leaving Real, he was the Chairman's signing and is his favourite. Mourinho wants Ade so Higuain will be available whether Mourinho likes it or not. And all the noise about him just signing a new 5 year deal means nothing apart from ensuring they get £40mill.

Higuain is the best poacher out there, in short he is a goal machine and we should be doing everything to get him as part of a swap deal with Ade.

Baines - 20m
Sanchez - 30m
Pastore - 30m
Aguero - 40m

(I'm guessing)

Tevez - 50m
Ade - 15m
RSC - 5m
Caicedo - 1m
Bridge - 2m
Jo - 2m
Given - 5m
Bellamy - 5m

Spent: 120m
Received: 85m

Total loss of 35m, not bad for 4 top players and getting rid of players we dont need. Thats assuming Tevez is leaving, If he stays there's no need for Aguero.
