Mancini - we support you thread.

Criticism is absolutely fine. There are loads of things he gets wrong and ill comment on them.

Questioning his position with what he's achieved, is stupid!
Not just stupid but completely ridiculous.

He had a very bad night at the office last night, there's no doubt about that, and if what Richards has said is true, and we are using this stupid 3 at the back nonsence without really training to use it, then its nearly as ridiculous as any threads suggesting he needs replacing.

Last night he had a tactical nightmare, but what he has done in his 3 years here is nothing short of remarkable given what he started with.

Points based on points system that applied at the time
Goal difference then goals scored applies when teams are level on

I've never heard anything but support for Mancini at the match and long should it continue.

Loads of tough guys on a keyboard here obviously not so loud at the matches, if there at all.

Forza Mancini.

But for me there's a world of difference in that. At a game I would never show anything but support for our manager (although I might think twice if we were in the drop zone), but on here I don't think the same rules apply.
I think he deserves support this season, and if we finish top 3 I would accept that after all that he has achieved here. It only becomes a question anyway if anyone better than him becomes available - and there aren't many who are IMHO.
If you employ say, the world No 4, that's great. But if the world No 1 becomes available and it looks like progress has stalled/ going backwards, then it becomes a question.
Here's a question, how many trophy less years would be acceptable under Mancini before his supporters here started to raise questions about his position? For example is the feeling that an Arsenal like record of consistent top 4 would be fine, bearing in mind where we've come from blah blah, the usual York away, etc (genuine question)

Trophyless??? Top four?

Relegation usually makes me question managers not lack of trophys.
