His team selections and tactics have put us out of two cups, he has also handed ground to Chelsea and the rags, again by picking the wrong players. His new system is bobbins and the players we have can't play it.
It seems like he at least knows which 11 to put out now but they have to attack teams, at 1-0 last night we just sat back and let them come at us, big big mistake.


Last season has gone , we can't eat out on it forever.

We are the fans that support the manager and the past 3 years of what he has brought to the club, good result or poor result this is the feel good thread.

I will start it off with what is an odd beating WBA after the Arsenal away result last season and walking out of the ground, Utd had lost at Wigan 0-1 it was as if we had won the lge, great times don't always have to be the big games.

Remember the bad times and the good times are even better.

Count me in. I'm still thrilled to bits with the events of the last 2 years

He gets things wrong from time to time, but look at the amount of games we have won by him making the correct call, only last week the changes he made won us the game.
Anyone who want's him out are bang out of order.

Yes,he has made mistakes,but compared to most previous managers he is a tactical genius.
He does need to rethink selections/playing positions/tactics and be more flexible,but we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater purely on the back of a lacklustre European campaign.
I remember all too well where we ended up by chopping and changing managers ever six months.
In the old second division having Stockpot Cunty do the double over us,and that was only 10 years ago.
I agree we shouldn't dine out on last season,but I really don't think that change now would stabilise the ship either.

I agree that we shouldn't be looking back but should look forward don't you think that's what Mancini is trying to do. Last years euro tactics didn't work so trying the 3 at the back tactic is an attempt at a change. In theory these tactics 'should' make it difficult for other teams to get through the midfield whilst also giving us the additional attacking capability.

Last night we were caught in the first half by the Ajax central midfielders taking it in turns to break through the middle and we weren't able to cope. This was sorted out at H/T and we were much better all round in the 2nd half. Unfortunately we got done at a set piece when Joleon was caught flat footed and then got an unlucky break with a deflection.

I'm not saying we were the better team last night, the first half was poor, but for the 2 goals (mentioned above) we weren't that bad.

If Micah had been able to find one of three city players in their box during his break when we were 1-0 up If dzeko had been able to finish when he rounded the keeper at 2-1 down, we might be talking differently.

However, this eezz football. Stop flapping, support the team, FORZA MANCINI, FORZA CITY
