Definitely a better read than DD's copy.
I still don't understand why folks think Mancini behaved so badly?
For every incident that has (and could) be identified I bet their are 10 such incidents that can be identified in Baconface's reign at the swamp. It wouldn't surprise me if Jose has the worse record than Mancini too. Which leads me to my point: Winners expect you to do as you are told - If they say: "Jump", - you say: "How High Boss", or you are out of the door before you know it.

City have decided they do not want a dictator as a head coach. They want an intelligent tactician. It remains to see whether this will work in the short, medium or long term. It certainly requires more proven specialists cooperating within the organisation for it to work - though the board are seemingly willing to put these specialists in place.

Interesting times.
You've missed the point mate. You're right when you say that Baconface and Jose (Shankly and Cloughie too) upset players as much as Bob, however the same players would at the same time walk through walls for these guys. In Bobby's case this wasn't true. His relationship with the players had no upside.
I can think of a few.

Kompanys post match interview 13.5.12 seemed to infer differently.

Yes and the 1-6 amongst others, but I've never been an inner or outer, he's helped to bring some of my best times at City, hope no ones going to disagree with that

A very interesting read and well put together argument for the opposite stance (opposite to me, that is.)

Nice work.

Interesting, now that's a good word, Daves got his point of view he conveys it very badly IMO and does himself no favours, but makes some good and valid points.

This is a tongue-in-cheek dig at Didsbury Dave isn't it? This is about when Didsbury Dave said, 'enjoy your first away game' a couple of months back isn't it? Despite your first away being in the early 1980s, and unbeknownst to him, you are two years older than he is. It's a fair dig really. People have complained about the heckling of Didsbury Dave but his 'enjoy your first away game' jibe at you was very atypical of Didsbury Dave's belittling of others. If you don't agree with him, or don't share his opinions, you are either an idiot, or too young to know the score. It's a trick he pulls constantly, especially digging the young thing - though he frequently agrees with two of our youngest (and most miserable posters) in MCFC BOB and Joe Mercer's Way, and rarely if ever belittles them for their youth... Surprise surprise. It was the fact that you're an upbeat person that pissed him off and led to his jibe because you were trying to encourage us to sing for ninety minutes as I recall. Nothing to do with youth, inexperience, or stupidity, simply you were being positive and that meant Didsbury Dave had to try (but failed) to take the piss out of you.
