Skashion said:It's worth bearing in mind that FantasyIreland was a Hughes inner and so I regard his opinion on this matter with the absolute derision it deserves and I invite others to join me. Someone who wants Mancini out after what he's achieved, but wanted to keep Hughes isn't worth listening to.
I'd understand wanting to keep Hughes and wanting to keep Mancini, because you're arguing for stability. Wanting them both out because they're not good enough, fine. Wanting Hughes out because he was shite, but keeping Mancini because very few have a comparable record of success, I'm down with that as that's me. But keeping Hughes who's won fuck all, spent a ton and done nothing, over four titles Mancini? Fucking mental. Eating your own turds whilst wanking over Gail Platt's tits mental.

I remember once when Pigeonhole said he wanted Hughes to go to Chelsea and prove us all wrong about him by winning the title and that would definitely qualify but until I have hard evidence to the contrary, they're my fellow blues.de niro said:just as i see it love, just as i see it.
come on haters, own up, who wants to lose v newcastle tomorrow? don't forget the more we lose the chance of you getting your wish.
they get on my nerves though. they attack him at every opportunity.
ok i'll be nice.
here's a question to my fellow blues.
why?

He is a winner!
Or could his personality, his style, now be wearing thin, and becoming tiresome, with some? hence this seasons embarrassing and unacceptable regression.
It's not about different opinions as I said in my post and which you've completely ignored. It's about self-consistency with your OWN opinions and reasoning. In your heart I think you probably know that it is completely inconsistent to back a manager who has won ZERO trophies versus wanting to sack a manager that has won NINE trophies after spending around the same amount of money.FantasyIreland said:Unlike you,i can handle someone having a different opinion to myself, and no amount of abuse will change that.
I thought Hughes' dismissal was handled disgracefully, regardless of his abilities,he deserved better, the fact it was for a man who also has his limitations only compounds that fact.
Hopefully our next appointment will be premium range.

You're clearly not following the thread as I ripped a big hole in the giving credit to Hughes argument earlier, although from 8th to 6th for £212m net whilst having Kompany warming the bench is probably a very quick summary of Hughes taking us nowhere at all. I've also pointed out that it's quite plausible for Mancini to finish with a very respectable 83 points this season. However, who's coming in to replace him? People are quick to demand that Mancini should lose his job but specifying who is going to fill his shoes is rapidly becoming a mute subject on this thread.peoffrey said:Zabaleta, Kompany, Tevez and De Jong were all signed by Hughes whilst Silva and Yaya Toure were on our radar long before Mancini was. Hughes took us so far (in 6th when he left) and now Mancini will take us so far too. The next Manager needs to take us forwards in Europe whilst also earning domestic success as Premiership Champions again. This 15 point gap could get bigger by the end of the season and is simply unacceptable.
I'll have them eating out of the palm of my hand by half time at the latest.Skashion said:It's good thing I don't implement a three strikes policy. However, I won't tell you how many strikes you have as I want you on guard when I introduce you to the rest of my branch. Many of them are actual working class and I need you to behave as though you are au fait with the working class for the duration of the match.gordondaviesmoustache said:I try not to use that, as I find Terry Christian's "woman tits" to be strangely arousing.
Another affront on our friendship.
