This thread's a walk in the park compared to some?

A Thread on the Sunderland forum has just hit 303 pages in 24hrs about their manager ;-)

One can hardly blame them. Can you imagine the absolute Hell of realizing that the man hired to stave off relegation is...di Canio?!

My respect for Mancini erodes by the week. I fully respect those who want him to stay and their reasons for doing so.

I'm just sick of him starting unnecessary fires, it's every week.

His comments about Nasri are old ground, we've heard it before. I happen to agree with the sentiments, but doing so in public was not for me.

Mancini's comments today, however, are the last straw for me.

Apparently we have a 100 year history but have only been born for two.

He continues to be derogatory about our club.

Someone should tell him Joe Mercer won five trophies in two years just a few decades back and that's something Mancini can't now match.

It was those tales from my dad which kept me going, when I thought what was all this shit from the beginning of the 80s.

More importantly, his comments about Vinny.

Apparently, he was in the wrong to play for Belgium now, having first pointed the finger at the Belgium national doctors on Thursday.

I don't need him questioning the club I love, regardless of our history, and certainly a captain who I will always proud to lead us.

his personnel management could certainly do with being moved into this century, unless it's an Italian thing
but his criticism of Vinnie is unwarranted and unnecessary

as regards our lack of history, it appears as if he's bigging himself up to shore up his crumbling foundations
