Fergie could possible pay 60 odd million to get tranny back plus huge wages,
does that not make him a chequebook manager ???

If Bob goes,do you think any manager coming in would not want a big warchest ??
But ferguson is very shrewed on the market usually, and when he can't get his no 1 targets or is told that he can't sign a player...he gets the best out of his current crop of players.

A new manager will obviously want his own players, but we can't keep going out buying clubs best players and paying a fortune to do so.

Falcao's, cavani's and neymars would be brilliant, but how about having one of those with some young talent or shrewed buys? Michu for example.

We have to be very resourceful with our money now, and Mancini for me, isn't resourceful in the transfer market

Spot on Jim Leighton , Liam O Brown , Djemba Djemba , the Italian goalkeeper , that Brazilian I can't remember , Ralph fuckin Milne he is that shrewd he made a fortune 4 them red cunts on these signings
The fact that you can name how many bad signing he has made in god knows how many years backs up my point.

Thanks

Neymar will be off the charts once a good European coach conditions him to the European game. That much talent can't go to waste. I fear it would end badly with him and Mancini though, Neymar needs a particular type of manager who isn't too soft and isn't too strict with him.

I think it's Neymar's people. His third party are ready to sell their 40 per cent stake in the player.

His hair alone is reason enough not to go anywhere near.

Couple that with an almost guaranteed disappearance during the winter months of a so called Brazilian superstar and we have yet another transfer disaster waiting in the wings.

No thanks, let him go and light up La Liga!

Massively torn over Neymar. Still don't think there is room for him at Barca, think Real will look elsewhere, but I think he needs a historically 'big' club to feed his ego into becoming the best. If he thinks for a second he's doing us a favour by coming here I think he'll flop. That said, the profile of signing someone like Neymar would be huge, and very much in fitting with the Txiki/Ferran/Ronaldihino model of transformation. I don't think Mancini is the man he needs right now either, very far from it. Maybe I'm selling his mentality short, but I think the first sign of a squabble and he'll be begging for Barca or Chelsea.

I remain unconvinced also.

However, going into a World Cup year, with the Brazilian poster boy, you are literally printing money.

I read somewhere that Santos only pay him £100k a week. The other £800k A WEEK comes from commercial tie-ups!!

The only way to find out if Neymar would succeed or flop would be to try him...

To dispell him before kicking a ball is ludicrous.

Personally, I'm going with Bob being told post-Newc by Khaldoon that his time at City is coming to an end. Informs him that Sheikh Mansour would like to see him face-to-face to personally thank him for the last 3 years and all he's done for the club, as chances are he won't see him face-to-face again.

That's what you hope any way.

Give your pals at Etisalat over in Abu Dhabhi a call, see if they know why Bob was over last week....

He's not a player I think would succeed in the Prem. Overhyped on an epic scale. Would much rather go for Isco, who was excellent against Dortmund the other night, and who would be half the price

Plenty of other poster boys out there that are far less risk than this lad.

Just not equipped for the PL imo and is destined for Spain.
