Mancini's excuses.

A lot of my United and Arse fans mates don't rate Mancini.

They think a manager like Mourinho or Hiddink would have been doing much better this season with our squad. I agree.
Mancini is a good manager, no doubt about that, but if he starts with the excuses when its clear we just played shit, he will lose support rapidly. Regarding the squad though, I can only presume that he is banking on CL football and has some serious irons in the fire.

He's playing a very dangerous game if thats the case then. Part of Hughes's downfall for me personally was the same repeatitive post match interviews ala 'we weren't dynamic enough'.

My cousins fella is a Arsenal season ticket holder and he said to me last night 'if you had any other top supposed manager in charge than the defensive minded Mancini, you'd of won this league by April'.

I want to support Mancini but i can't help but agree with my cousins fella.

didnt mancini also say we played badly?

and he took the blame?

it was just his opinion, from the sideline, that it wasnt a penalty.

good grief people.

Dont think we will get 4th, dont think we can keep a clean sheet against any team in the prem. its all going tits up. !

Bobby is under severe pressure and it is beginning to show imo...

Funny how people only pick up on what they want to hear.

Mancini held his hands up and said he was unhappy with himself and that we've played badly throught January.

Give the guy a break, boxing day he was the best thing since sliced bread.

Bobby out at the end of the season calls.

Get the fuck outa here. Thats what we need aint it, 300 million spent on his team then fuck him off. 2 more years and millions more to rebuild for the new manager. fuck it lets go the whole hog and aim for 50 yrs on the rag banner

It WILL happen mate if we dont win either of the 2 cups we are still involved in.....300m or not

Bollocks !!
A top 4 finish and that will help stop the knee jerkers.

Mancini's a "good" manager yes, good like Moyes or MON. He is not a great manager and a great manager is exactly what's needed to turn this talented bunch of individuals in to a top TEAM. I simply refuse to believe that we're seeing the best out of the players we have. Barry and Milner in particular are shadows of the players they were for Villa. Mancini's man management is also suspect, alienating and falling out with top players is doing us no favors. The bottom line is he's a likeable bloke but for my money isn't the finished article, he may go on to be but can we afford him the time to serve his apprenticeship? I don't think we can and I'd have Mourinho or more realisticly Hiddink in a heartbeat.

i remeber a thread similar to this after the wolves game... called something like bumbling bob mancini... funny how some people who posted on there changed their opinion as soon as we started winning again.
