Mancini is a good manager, no doubt about that, but if he starts with the excuses when its clear we just played shit, he will lose support rapidly. Regarding the squad though, I can only presume that he is banking on CL football and has some serious irons in the fire.

He's playing a very dangerous game if thats the case then. Part of Hughes's downfall for me personally was the same repeatitive post match interviews ala 'we weren't dynamic enough'.

Exactly. That pass he played early doors, well my dead nana, (RIP nan, love you), could have intercepted that. His presence is undoubtedly an asset, but his legs are not going to carry us to the promised land. He should be given a more coaching, mentoring role and leave the playing to the younger lot. I hope Yaya is back soon.
