mancini's patronising words

I thought it was a relevant point when fans in the stand were booing the decision. Some fans have said Tevez indicated he wanted to come off although I didn't see that

I've seen plenty of posts criticising him for taking Tevez off

if you take tevez off cos he's injured then at 0-0 you put another forward on ffs.

where was ade yesterday? not another one left out cos he's fell out with bob.
Adebayor had a heel injury unless you know different?

As mancini said, sometimes it's more productive to put on an extra midfielder to win a game as you need good possession. That's the point Mancini ws making which you fail to grasp which is maybe why you change your mind every 5 minutes

But if you think I put four strikers on and we score four goals, it is not true.

"All supporters are like this, in England and Italy. I must think like a manager. We can play wide, get the ball into the box, then we can score.

"Supporters just think why don't you put more strikers in the box, two, three, four, five.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know or talk to any city fan who thinks like this, and to come out with crap like this is insulting.

you mr mancini earn a kings ransom, the fans part with a lot of money and deserve better than the dire spectacle that is currently on offer.

i think the booing was a culmination of the events that preceeded the change.

Maybe not 4 strikers but it would help if we had 2 and possibly got people in the box.

To be honest, although he's exaggerating, he's certainly not far from the truth.

I think I've seen at least 4 posters on here TODAY blame our draw on 'not playing two up top' etc. I would quote them but I seriously can't be arsed, you can find them yourselves quite easily. One brave person then, inevitably, had the chore of pointing out how Arsenal/Barcelona play.

The Barry for Tevez move didn't pay off, but you've got to be an idiot not to at least appreciate the reason why he did it.

I would say playing two up top at home is a fair point, particularly when there is a shortage of goals from midfield areas. We have lost the goals of Bellamy and Ade from last season and unfortunately the players such as Milner and Yaya have not contributed significantly. In fairness Mancini at one point must of thought the same as he brought Santa Cruz alongside Tevez on but then in a matter of minutes reverted back.

The comparison for example with Arsenal in my opinion is a poor one. They have players such as Fabregas etc who will contribute goals from the midfield, we currently dont. Hence we are one of the lowest scorers at home.

As I said yesterday the players have to take some blame of the blame. It is not all down to Mancini yes he picks the team the tatics but if they fail to preform he is only able to make 3 subs to change it. Yes he has got it wrong at times but what manager hasnt. I think he needs a bit more time to sort it out. It would be madness to get rid now at this time so lets see what the rest of the season brings before we judge him. Yes the football is dire at times but if it gets Champions League football and if we win a cup this year as well I dont think we will mind.

Hes right, our fans were a disgrace and have no idea.
Pretty embarashed yesterday surounded by a bunch of spoilt kids.

did'nt know about ade's injury, i've not changed my mind on bob, i would not get rid as i'm sick of the chopping and changing over the years but he has to get up to speed with the english game and quickly, we were and have been dire for most of the season.

Y7EAH WE SHUD BE PLAYIN WIV 442 COS YOU GOT 2 HAVE STRIKERS ON DER PITCH. HE SHUDDA TKANE JO HART OFF AN PUT JO ON AN DAT

Platt got it spot on in his interview yesterday. You can't just chuck a load of strikers on the pitch and expect there to be more chances and goals. It's not FIFA ffs
