Mancini's selection and tactics

4-2-3-1 - Big teams(Arsenal, Chelsea, Manure, LiverpLOL, Newcastle)/CL

3-5-2 - Small counterattacking teams/Park the bus teams.

We always seem to get scored on against teams that just park the bus and just wait for a quick counter. Sunderland, QPR final day, and Southampton did it. With 3 instead of 2 at the back, we'll be more defensivly secure.

I didn't ask you. But if you only want to post now and again (which is your right) why not make it count by going easy on the playground stuff?
Couldn't let this condescension go. 441 posts hardly makes you a BM legend.Be careful you are in danger of sounding like Didsbury Dave.
Whereas 1876 makes you a god?

Cheap jibe, super-mario. Whether you agree with him or not, Supercrystal7's posts are among the most thoughtful on here. Not throwaway one-liners. You wouldn't know that. If you intend staying on BM for longer than 16 posts, do us all a favour by thinking before you press the submit button.
i would know that because i have been a member on here for years just dont feel the need to post all the time because i have better things to do... reading that though came across as really smug if you ask me..

yes, i know you didnt ask me... which is why i said " if you ask me?" very very smug opinion from him, bet hes sat behind his screen pissing himself at seeing us do not so great at the minute, i think you should all got of bobbys back were still unbeaten ffs..

so why dont you take your playground stuff somewhere else? this is a CITY fans forum and dont forget that.. just because people have more posts than someone else doesnt make there opinion more valid does it!???

There was nothing at all smug about my comments. I like City. It's bad enough living in London with United winning everything (surrounded by glory hunters), but being in Manchester and having them gloat must be a thousand times worse. Maybe it's karma you got bought after the last 20 years. I definitely don't want United or Arsenal winning the league so why would I take pleasure in City doing poorly? Especially since I strongly feel if City don't win the league it's going to be United.

Anyway I believe the comments were fair enough. You ARE in a very precarious situation in the CL. Dortmund cannot defend to save their lives at the moment, but they are a very good team. Their defenders are just playing badly. I think United and Chelsea would only be 50/50 to get out of the group. Even getting out of the group of the death, you are likely to be rewarded with Barca/Bayer/PSG. Second round this year in the CL would be a good achievement. The league is different, unless Toure or Kompany get injured you should be aiming to at worst narrowly lose out.

Mancini gives his all, in all of our matches.

He wants nothing more than to win, he has this in his genes.

All you can do is ask a person to give 100% and he does at all times.

Tactics and decisions made at critical times are dependant on so much information that we simply do not have access to, he does.

I would rather have no one else in charge.

FORZA MANCINI

I think its time Mancini started playing players who are in form and deserve to play rather than his "best 11" and treating all players the same. I'm looking at the Dzeko situation, this season he seems to be giving it his all, playing well and fighting for a first team place but the problem is he will never get treated the same as Aguero or Balotelli (in a discipline way). Now whilst I agree that Aguero is a better player than Edin however as a manager you have to play your players who are in form regardless of their reputation. Aguero is injured for 4 weeks while Tevez and Dzeko have been playing well then when he recovers he automatically brings Sergio back into the team, that is poor management IMO. Everyone could see that Sergio wasn't fully fit but yet he still started him over Tevez and then he subbed of Dzeko who was the best player on the pitch and kept Aguero on who had his worst game for city and looked nakered is just a crazy decision.

Look at the difference between Milner and Silva and Lescott and Kompany. Milner can play have a good game and get dropped the following week where as Silva who has been shite since February constantly gets picked. Lescott has been no worse than Kompany this season I would even say Lescott has been better but yet Lescott is the one who gets dropped.

Now I will agree with most people's view that Aguero, Silva and Kompany are more important to the team than Dzeko, Milner and Lescott however any player playing for City should get a fair opportunity and that doesn't happen. I just think it must be hard for players like ED, JL and JM to keep motivated knowing that if given half the chance Mancini would replace them.

If they cant keep motivated they just have to fuck off anywhere. The world if full of average players like them with whom you'll never win anything

Its the managers job to keep players motivated also Milner and Dzeko are average players who Mancini signed so why sign a player for 20+ million if they are average?
