and of course famed for an incredibly witty sense of humour. lovely banter, such bonhomie. a frenzied verbal attack in response to the OP's observation.
have to say that during my 21 years in manchester, i visited a vast array of bars, pubs and clubs such as 21 piccadilly, royale's and eccles' very own mecca - the talk of the north. now being a regular at these classy establishments, you'd have thought i'd be inclined to shoot the OP down in flames. however, the lad knows his women. upon seeing the late friday night 67 bus through eccles centre, one could be forgiven for assuming one has witnessed the north west's largest cattle truck.
another joy to behold is the daily pram race on the church street circuit. the first mcclaren buggy through the doors of gregg's wins a steaming hot brace of steak bakes. participants are decorated with their curtain rings which they cleverly disguise as earrings, coupled with adidas trackies tucked into stripey socks.
